I'm absolutely thrilled with my students' Geography tutorial videos being given honourable mention and uploaded to Next Vista for Learning. Thank you Rushton Hurley! Check the videos here (https://goo.gl/5O7mQh) and learn about how your students can participate here: http://www.nextvista.org/. I highly encourage teachers of any subject, at any level, to participate in Next Vista's contests, which encourage concentrated research and synthesis, academic honesty, creative expression, and if you choose, collaboration.

Here are three Google Forms adapted from John Hattie's Visible Learning. (1) A form for students to help identify their learning processes, (2) a form for teachers to reflect on their classroom practices, and (3) a form for school leaders to reflect on what's happening in the school. Feel free to make copies or look at the links and citations to learn more. (https://goo.gl/q2lk6D)

Was interviewed for an educational technology article by John Amari for the American Chamber of Commerce Japan magazine The Journal. Thanks a million John Amari! Much more in the article that really digs into the edtech situation in Japan. Nice work John!

The food is brilliant. Good Thai food selection in spite of the massive tourist hotels and other restaurants catering to tourists.

The food is more expensive than a proper Thai restaurant due to location next to Shangrai la hotel. Food is good. Has international menu.

I'm rating this based on the cost. The hotel is definitely worth what you pay. The pool is nice and the food is good. Basic but a good value. The rooms are spartan but clean. It's old school so the toilet and shower are together (in my room at least).

Typical five star hotel but a little more in terms of services. I love the place. Have stayed a couple of times. Great views of the city and river.
