Decided to revive a old ASUS Slider SL101 by installing Linux on it. It’ll be a great for circuit simulation and data logging in the lab.

Just received some classics for my ZX Spectrum from RetroGear.co.uk. Very well packaged, they arrived here in Brazil in perfect condition

And if anyone is interested, here's the schematic of the shunt regulator I've posted before.

It was also the first project I've made using KiCAD, it was a bit painful to learn after using EAGLE for almost 5 years, but I think the switch will be totally worth it in the future.

I’ve completed the shunt regulator project! It can now sit quite nicely above my Class-A headphone amplifier that will be powered by it.

Just finished etching my first PCB using the toner transfer method. It’s a discrete shunt regulator that I’ll definitely share later.

I know it looks horrible, but there’s a first time for everything. I had to use the permanent marker since I’m waiting for my laser printer to arrive and had to try it out.

If you’re wondering, it’s a 3A buck regulator prototyping platform, so I can play around with digital and analog control systems and all sorts of feedback stuff without having to rebuild the whole power section each time.

Just finished building a solar panel frame that I can just slide the panel in. This one will also serve the purpose of shielding my batteries from the sun and rain.
