Love this: Chrome will now send all searches issued in the omnibox over HTTPS by default.

Years ago, I manually created a new search engine listing in Chrome to search Google over SSL because I hated that my searches by default were sent unencrypted. Very glad Chrome will soon (starting in Chrome 25) be doing this by default.

Nice! That has bothered me too, so I end up doing most of my searches on the https google homepage.
