Fall Storm From Lopaus Point Near Back Beach.
Went out weather watching this morning as 35 knots from the southeast were making the place all crazy all over. Weather is so awesome! Have a good one.

Great Meadow Acadia Fall 2015
The island has the best fall color that I've ever seen this year. Seriously. Have a good one!

Fall color somewhere along Duck Brook in Acadia.
Gave a tour to some nice folks from Utah yesterday and then realized that the park is looking particularly amazing this year so brought Sophie back with me today. It was definitely a nice day in the park although just wicked crowded for Columbus Day. Have good one.

DownEast Sunrise Near Corea Maine.
Yesterday morning 9/24/15, had some unexpected free time so headed for one of my favorite secret beaches for morning civil twilight. The trip was good, the photos were nice, and the fried chicken was excellent! Have a good one-

Great Head Acadia.
Went out for a sunrise photo this past Sunday for the first time in a long time. Been needing to take a break on my standard landscape approach so I've been doing lots of iPhone and then off camera light studio still life etc with my real cam- but I'll always be a landscaper photographer from way back like. I was inspired by this past issues' cover shot in the Friends of Acadia magazine by Tom Blagden of Great Head, and it's all I've been thinking of since I'd seen it. So this was my take. The problem with photography sometimes is seeing a picture that someone else made- all too easily it would be to try to make the same image, which would be bad. Sometimes it's easier just to try to look at less photography (as a photographer), know what I mean Vern? And have a good one!
