Please donate to a cool friend of mine who's in a shitty situation right now - your dollars can help.

On February 5th 2014, I was beaten up in the street, abducted, raped for hours and was very close to being murdered (by that I mean he decided to stop trying to straggle me to death). The man that did this died on Feb 7th when he was shot by police officers as they went to question him and he m...

That sounds doable! I have some time this evening, but more time tomorrow evening.

Tonight I would be limited to 5-5:45...or after 8p.

Tomorrow I could do any time after 5p

In 2014 some of my family will be able to file joint federal returns, whereas they previously had to file separately. Good.

If ever there was a Kalamazoo portal which was destined to be forever held by the green team, I suppose that would have to be The Glass Onion on West Main in Kalamazoo.

Its equivalent for blue: Maybe the Blue Dolphin on Kalamazoo's pedestrian mall?

No, that wasn't me. Haven't been to any shows there. Or anywhere lately, so let me know if you know of anything good.

Somebody stole the sign from one (actually two, since there's a dupe) of our portals on East Campus

Crazy! That's almost the exact angle of the picture I took for my submission.

Each step in human technological advancement provides improved methods for the distribution of cat photos. Project Glass is no "different."

We're calling for greater transparency--asking the government to let us publish in our Transparency Report aggregate numbers of national security requests, including their scope.  Here's our letter to the US government.

French fries and American fries were crispy (which I prefer), the chickpea wrap would have been kinda bland except for the side of salsa, which I adulterated with some hot sauce. My friends got the ham & mushroom omelette, and the breakfast burrito - they both liked their choices. On the drink front they had cans of soda and tea, fruit juice, brewed coffee, and boxed water which I thought was odd. All the condiments are in packets, and the plates are disposable but the silverware is metal. Staff's very friendly, but very much still figuring out how the place works (I was the first person to order the chickpea salad wrap, and had to ask for the fries, which they were surprised to learn was included according to the menu). The place was almost empty the whole time we were there, but mostly because people got in and out so fast. Probably twelve customers in an hour. Outdoor seating looked nice, but we ate inside. Parking is going to be a limiting factor for customers outside the neighborhood, they've only got about eight or ten spaces and it's kind of an awkward lot to enter and exit, because of its proximity to the traffic signal. For a new place I'd give them a 4/5, I hope they do well there.
