+Nate Ford It has been killed. As far as I'm concerned Google can stick the news Maps up their ass. I've moved over to Bing Maps (yeah, there's a sentence I thought I'd never use...)

What if I told you that sweet breakfast cereal as you know it could be changed forever. That there’s something so good, that you might just turn your nose up at Cookie Crisp, the pinnacle of sugar-filled morning meals. Blasphemy? Maybe. Pop Tarts are the definitive breakfast on the go for sweet tooths, but why eat one big Pop Tart you could eat a bunch of little ones, in a bowl, with milk, like a cereal. Basically, the best idea ever. In other wo...

This is why so many new movies suck. Particularly why the new Hobbit films suck compared to The Lord of the Rings. (this and the 48fps rate in the Hobbit)

Typical Verizon. Their network may be fast, but they're slow at everything else.

This place is cheap but the washers are tiny. Lady who runs the place is inconsiderate and rude. The sign says they close at 11 - she tells me at 10:05 as I'm putting my laundry in the dryer that she's closing at 10:30 and I have 20 minutes. Won't be coming back here again.

Best delivery/takeout in town. Hands down. Super-fast, consistently good. One downside is that they have a relatively small delivery range, but it allows them to be insanely fast within their range. They also got rid of one of their two best flavors a year or so ago: Oriental Sesame. I recommend Hot Garlic now. Also, the switch from Coke products to Pepsi was disappointing for me, but maybe pleasing to some.

I'll start this by saying that I've never had a bad experience with a mail carrier. HOWEVER, I've had experiences with two post offices in State College and they've both been awful. Today I called this Fraser Street Post Office and asked if I could pick up a package that arrived early this morning and was given a firm 'no' without explanation from the gruff-sounding man who answered as if I was interrupting a nap. I then said, "Ok well then I guess I'll just have to wait to get it delivered tomorrow." He responds: "Hopefully." Me: "What do you mean?" Him: "I have 15,000 parcels here to sort through. You can go through them and try to find it if you want. I can't allow you to do that, but you can try." Me: "So... what now your just giving me an attitude for no reason? I just asked some simple questions." Him: "No, I was just trying to tell you that there are 15,000 parcels here and I have to sort through them." Me: "And you're just being a dick about it." I wish I would have asked for his name and reported him to higher management. At that point I hung up the phone. At the Calder Way location (on my first experience shipping something, having no idea how the process went), I witnessed the lady with the short brown hair at the desk be rude to two customers before me. Then when I walked up to the desk I politely (and with a concerted effort to be pleasant said, "Hi, I want to ship this hard drive." She returned with, "I'm not your mother, boxes and envelopes are over there." Everything I have shipped since then has been through UPS. These people don't deserve their jobs.
