Why the internet could be going to hell in a cozy corporate hand basket. It's up to us to save net neutrality and stop this absurd monopoly.

This is such a great explanation!

You've failed before, and you will fail again. We all do. It's not worth being afraid of - or letting it keep you from doing what you want to do:
No matter who you are, you've failed plenty of times in your life. Chances are, you're afraid of doing it again. Over at Fast Company, author Warren Berger outlines six questions to ask yourself to kill those fears.

Get the latest download while you can.

Although I stopped using Winamp after I started using Google Play Music about a year ago. Winamp has played a big part in my life since I was around 16 years old. Out of all the players I've tried over the years I kept going back to Winamp.

It's the end of an era, folks. Let's have a moment of silence for our old friend, Winamp. It really whipped the llama's ass.
It's been a good 15 years, but Winamp, our go-to desktop media player, is shutting down on December 20th.

Why net neutrality is going down.

Because our government is for sale to the highest bidder, and the highest bidder wants to kill net neutrality.

The Sunlight Foundation looks at lobbying by pro- and anti-net neutrality factions. The anti position is wildly outspending the pro position.

This doesn't mean it's hopeless. And this is looking at just corporations.

We don't have to let corporations push us around, but we do it anyway as we think in terms of the individual and not as a collective whole.

Post Editor for Google+ - a Chrome Extension for formatting Google+ posts
Google+ doesn't offer a ton of formatting options for your posts and the ones it does have you have to remember the markup to use. This isn't so big a deal for those of us who use it regularly or have been around since the beginning. However, it comes up often when I talk with new or infrequent users. So I created a Google Chrome extension called 'Post Editor for Google+' to help!

Post Editor for Google+ adds formatting buttons to the bottom of the post box so you can easily style your posts. It also includes a variety of symbols that you can automatically inject into your post.

You can grab the extension from the Chrome Web Store: http://goo.gl/ywkWj3

Right now it works with the main post box. If enough people find it useful I can extend it to work with the comment fields as well.

Just when you think a human couldn't be any more stupid! First act of stupidity was deciding to jack an official vehicle at gunpoint. Second, They didn't even know what it was they were stealing, it was a blind risk. Third, they completely ignored the radioactive warning signs and labels and decided to go dumpster diving in a barrel of radioactive material! And finally they just left it in the middle of nowhere. At this point the smartest thing the could of done in this situation would have been to sell it to the highest bidder and they failed to even do that much!

We just updated our Transparency Report, showing how many requests Google gets for information about its users. But we're not allowed to give the full story because the U.S. government says that requests under the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) must be kept secret. We can tell you this: Requests have more than doubled around the world since 2009, and more than tripled in the U.S.: http://g.co/u5sp

Share this if you believe you have a right to know what our governments are up to.

I love to play all sorts of video games though RPGs are my genre of choice. I'm not as dedicated of a gamer as I once was.

One of the best deli's in town. The store is pretty cramped considering it's popularity. If you're in a hurry forget trying to go during lunch rush. But the food is worth the wait.

Best place to get a really good burger. Just don't order to pick up. The service is decent if you eat at a booth. However, the service for pickup was horrible. I waited for 20 min before I finally got rung up. People who were behind me in line got served first. Apparently, I had to wait for one specific person to help me and that person took forever. Not sure why it had to be done that way and the other person available couldn't help me! it doesn't make since. It matters not as I won't be ordering pickup from them again.
