Is it worth swapping my laptop hard drive for a SSD?
It’s often worth replacing a spinning-platter HD (hard drive) with a chip-based SSD (solid-state drive). SSDs make your PC start up faster, and programs feel much more responsive. Programs can load data straight from an SSD without having to wait for a hard drive to spin up to speed, or for the read/write head to find the right sector on the platter.
SSDs have no moving parts, so they are impervious to the shocks that can damage hard drives when laptops are bumped around or even dropped. They also consume less power, which prolongs battery life. SSD's can make you old or new laptop or desktop a blazingly fast computer!! Call us for a free evaluation for your Laptop or Desktop. 571.642.2801

WARNING!!!!!!!!! DON'T GET SCAMMED!

"My Computer has been blocked. Call this number!!!!"
DON'T CALL THIS NUMBER!!!
No harm has been done to your pc yet! If you do call the number and grant remote access to your PC just turn it off without telling the party on the other end you are doing so and then hang up. This is a total scam. Turn your computer back on and check it out. Should be ok but you can call us and we will scan and remove any programs the scammer installed on you...r PC.
If you did get as far as giving the scammer your credit card info just turn your computer off hang up and call your credit card company and dispute the charge. Tell them you fell for the scam. It is important not to relay to the scammer that you do not want their service. If they know you are not going to use their service they will install Syskey on your pc. When you reboot you will be locked out and even worst the Sam hives will be Encrypted. Reload time. But we can save your Data!!  Call NatcoIt 571.642.2801

On the importance of being backed up!!

Your data is valuable. It will cost you time and effort re-create it, and that costs money or at least personal grief and tears; sometimes it can't even be re-created. Since it is an investment, you should protect it and take steps to avoid losing it.
There are basically four reasons why you might lose data: hardware failures, software bugs, human action, or natural disasters. Although modern hardware tends to be quite reliable, it can still break seemingly spontaneously. The most critical piece of hardware for storing data is the hard disk, which relies on tiny magnetic fields remaining intact in a world filled with electromagnetic noise. Modern software doesn't even tend to be reliable; a rock solid program is an exception, not a rule. Humans are quite unreliable, they will either make a mistake, or they will be malicious and destroy data on purpose. Nature might not be evil, but it can wreak havoc even when being good. All in all, it is a small miracle that anything works at all.
Backups are a way to protect the investment in data. By having several copies of the data, it does not matter as much if one is destroyed (the cost is only that of the restoration of the lost data from the backup).
It is important to do backups properly. Like everything else that is related to the physical world, backups will fail sooner or later. Part of doing backups well is to make sure they work; you don't want to notice that your backups didn't work. Adding insult to injury, you might have a bad crash just as you're making the backup; if you have only one backup medium, it might be destroyed as well, leaving you with the smoking ashes of hard work. Or you might notice, when trying to restore, that you forgot to back up something important, like the user database on a 15000 user site.
