Manage Your Page Via New G+ Mobile App

A top community requested feature! Good stuff.

New in the mobile app: support for Google+ pages

Today we're rolling out v3.2 of the Google+ app to Android and iOS; both versions include one of our most highly-requested features: support for Google+ pages. This gives page owners the ability to post, comment, and interact with their followers directly from their mobile device.

- The Android version includes an updated widget, and a new 'Find People' experience.
- The iOS version adds iPhone 5 and iOS 6 support, and the ability to edit your posts.

The new app is available now from Google Play ( and the App Store (, so give it a spin and let us know what you think!

awesome!  editing our posts!  I've been wishing for that!!
mainly trying to figure out how to get to my page
ERMAHGERD, how many times can I say thank you :)
OK, it's a bit more cumbersome than the web app, but if you select Menu -> Sign Out, and then Sign back in to the G+ app, you'll be presented with a list of accounts (and pages) to sign in as.
Yeah, that is a bit cumbersome.  Hopefully that process will be streamlined in the future!
Hmmm honestly.... Im a bit indifferent about tjis update.

I liked the ability to scroll through them.
I'm not complaining in any way because I believe the team has made an amazing app here in every way, but I agree that the way to get to pages is a little cumbersome at this time.

The only reason I say this is that one must go through all of the Google+ settings again once you sign back into your personal profile. It asks you about Instant Upload and finding friends all over again as if you were installing the app for the very first time.

Just some feedback that I hope helps. Thank you +Natalie Villalobos for an awesome update!

Nice addition just that a bit troublesome to switch between my profile and pages
Not really feeling the new widget. I loved being able to fast scroll through the posts, like most of Google's widgets (Gmail, Calender, Voice). Now you have to press the ">" icon and wait for it to refresh and it appears to only show the latest 10 posts. I give it points for the refresh icon and visual design.
Definitely excited about being able to use the page, but the switching functionality is beyond cumbersome. It's UX nightmare right now.
The new UI killed the widget for me - without being able to scroll through posts it's no faster or more convenient than opening the full application and doing it from there. :/
Access to pages: a great feature to have, unfortunately the implementation is pretty bad. Every time I want to switch to the page "profile", it appears I need to sign out and back in. Access to pages should be done through the main menu (that provides access to photos, profile etc.) Unless I'm missing something, +Natalie Villalobos ?
Ok that sucks. No fast switching?
+Natalie Villalobos Works fine on Nexus 7, but two phones (one GB; one JB) get 'No connection -- Couldn't connect to the server' error msg. Tried reboot, fresh change.
That sucks! Really wished it was a seamless integration between pages
+Miklós Balázs And it seems clear today's update is causing the 'no connect' problem. When I revert to any of the previous revs -- under both GB and JB -- the phone gets online, just fine.
+Miklós Balázs +Natalie Villalobos Hey, I guess somebody gave the server a swift kick because even with no changes at this end it's all looking good, now.

As of about 5 mins. ago, both phones and my Nexus 7 are purring along on the new G+. Thanks to the team for a very smooth and good-looking new rev. :-)
+Allen Cross sign out of the app restart your phone and then sign in again. You will have to follow the intro wizard once more but it fixed the connection issue for me on 4.1.1 CM10
+Natalie Villalobos I like that you guys added pages support to the app, but to be honest if I have to sign out to switch between my page and my personal profile, it's a bit unusable for me on a daily basis... :(
+Michael Pfister Thanks, but I had tried all that. See my other response; the fix was performed at Google's started working with no further changes to my devices. Maybe your reboot coincided with their fix?
Having to sign out to switch to page? WHA?! :-(
