An interesting read if you are planning to travel to Turkey this year

Thoughts and musings about Turkey in our latest blog post. There is no doubt that it has been a frightful start to 2017 for Turkey but for many it is business as normal.

A look back at life in Turkey during 2016 - There has been a lot of turmoil but I'm looking forward to 2017. Happy New Year everyone.
This year in Turkey, has been a ginormous shocker of events. Turmoil and destruction came at us like an avalanche, flattening everything in its path.

In Turkey, there is no need to book bland and boring hotels because there are so many unusual and quirky places to stay. Read more here - http://turkishtravelblog.com/unusual-hotels-in-turkey/
Some unusual hotels in Turkey include Ottoman mansions of Istanbul, treehouses of Olympos, floating gulets of the riviera and cave hotels in Cappadocia

One of my favourite regions in Turkey. Visit if you can! Called Karadeniz Bolgesi in Turkish, its vast distance across the northern coastline promises unique experiences in a wide range of genres including cultural, rural, foodies, landscape, and historic travel.

About Turkey and it's bizzare weather climate. Such is the diversity in climate; Turkey has achieved a unique status as a major beach destination in the summer but is also marketing and promoting their ski resorts and mountain terrain exploration.

Did you know that Turkey uniquely has three climate zones? The result is that the weather can be quite bizarre at times!

Quite an eery place really. Go if you are headed in that direction, otherwise don't make a special trip. On a clear day the views of Mount Hassan are awesome!

One of the best preserved Hellenistic theatres. We arrived early and hardly anyone was there. Long walk up to the beginning of the ruins so if it is hot, wear a hat and have water ready.

Love their photography tour - you can choose where you want to go or they can provide ideas because both Erkan and Kadir are locals. You are dealing one to one with the Cappadocian experts here and I am eager to recommend them for photography tours or other places in Turkey.
