- Ideas for a sustainable planet
There has to be a global mandate that is sponsored by the business sector that would make sure dollars that are profited from a community go back to the community. If you have a business owner that restores schools and provides jobs in the community he profits from, there will be a redistribution of wealth. Currently, most of the global wealth has been pocketed by a handful of individuals who have yet to understand that private sector wealth must be distributed, not hoarded.
Ways to do this: Analyze the needs of various communities and make a continuous and methodical contribution to schools, jobs infrastructure, food distribution and other facets of sustainable living. The bulk of these issues are usually maintained by a government and in cases of great need, by NGOs. Businesses will have to see that the bottom line is not just about profits, it is about providing a healthy livable environment for the people who 1) buy products from you or 2) those whose resources are depleted by your businesses in their region. Creating a sustainable environment for billions requires work from all sectors, not just government.
Also, there should be a partnership between governments and businesses that utilizes new technology designed to help the environment. Many new innovative ideas need to be utilized as solutions to global problems, not just new profit streams for a business. Ideas must be shared and replicated.2w
- I think the biggest problem we're facing collectively might be that, either those who are supposed to be our leaders are ignorant of what they're doing wrong or people who are skeptical themselves are just too pessimistic to face reality, with oncoming explosion of new information-material produced each and every day. I come from being heavily influenced by entertainment-oriented mediums than more of those regular, industrial way of thinking whatnot, but that's how I read it whenever I access social medias/online mediums these days.
People could start their own journalism/interest groups beginning from online relations to offline, that could be possible too as long as they're conscientious enough, only thing that'd be bugging would be whether that'd be orthodox enough to withstand some bubbles/doubts in the process whatnot.2w
