On the 125th anniversary of Vincent’s death, Willem van Gogh and Machteld van Laer, descendants of Van Gogh’s brother, laid sunflowers and yellow dahlias on the painter’s grave in Auvers-sur-Oise.

“All that is important is this one moment in movement. Make the moment important, vital, and worth living. Do not let it slip away unnoticed and unused.” ~Martha Graham
If you find yourself rushing through the present, focusing on the future, and not enjoying your days, these tiny shifts could be life changing.

I support 'Add a #KardBlock-like custom filters for any and / or all feeds from…' to #hootsuite - what do you think?
I propose: having negative keyword / theme filters for any / or / all accounts, streams, and feeds. A #KardBlock, if you will. We all follow feeds / accounts / profiles but we don't always like everything they say. For example, some of us track media types for our perspective businesses. We like 99% of what they'll say, but then they'll retweet some Kardashian-type reality crap - unless it's the Chicago Tribune, who has a habit of having Kard...

I know the feeling, Vincent.

Today is a rainy day in Amsterdam! Vincent sometimes struggled with this kind of bad weather too, as he wrote on 25 March 1888 to his brother Theo (http://bit.ly/1GTmPJE):

“As the bad weather prevented me from working on the spot, I completely worked this study to death trying to finish it at home. However, I started the same subject again immediately afterwards on another canvas, but as the weather was quite different, in a grey palette and without figures.”

Referring to his painting ‘The Langlois Bridge’: http://bit.ly/1ERWMT5

Taken pre-show at Mountain Winery in Summer 2015. We were seeing Amos Lee & David Gray. Sadly, they never played together and, more sadistically, Amos never played, "Supply & Demand," but we're talking a couple flakes of dust on a '69 Mustang Fastback during a trip down the Sur: not really concerned about it. Incredible night, overall.

Also, first concert Katie saw as Mrs. Findling!

“I’m not interested in any philosophy unless it can help me grow corn.”
Here are some little things that I feel are sacred, and they certainly are simple. Adding them to your day could bring you peace, meaning, and joy.

The real Reason #GoogleFiber needs to come to #EastBay

Cayden says he can take his Madden 15 team all the way. Faster speeds mean less time lagging and more time in the endzone. What games would you play on Fiber? #speedmatters

It was a great little all-in-one stop. Quiznos hit the spot, staff was friendly, convenience store prices were convenient - even had Luna bars. Gas & tires for little issues that could arise on I80. We saved this spot to our Google Maps account for future reference.

It makes for a great crash pad. We got in at 4am. The manager initially charged us $10 per dog, then dropped it to $5 when we went to pay because the king room wasn't available (construction: who, by the way, were quiet). He also didn't hold us to an 11am checkout since we got in when the first of daylight was starting to sneak over the eastern ridge. Our little Havanese dogs were quite comfortable. As were we. The linens looked old bit cared for, similar to my grandmother's house back in Chicagoland. We didn't use them, but that's because we use our own pillow and blanket on trips so we don't get too snug and not want to get up the next day. Country accents. Original wood crown molding and pieces. Lantern-style center light and a Coca-Cola bottle opener on the bathroom door frame. Painted brick (actual brick) walls. Small room, but quaint moreso than cheap in the size. It keeps you comfortable. TV and dresser in a little alcove allows the walking aisles to be open. Gabled windows that open out. We missed the breakfast, but that's because we didn't fall asleep til 5am. Otherwise 7-11am breakfast is generous. AC has vintage dial settings, but clean and functional. All in all, it ain't the Hilton but its charm keeps you calm. It's low-key nature and accommodating conditions made it an ideal stay. And the Manager, I swear, works there 24/7. He was the guy that checked us out when we left later on that day. I think he's the owner/operator.

Just order, "Something Lunchy," or "Something Dinnery," and let them go to town. Well, now, make sure you let them know if you have any food allergies so they don't make something to which you are allergic but other than that, let them go to town. The food will be incredible. The place is incredible. So glad RG got us to start coming there in 2011. I'll never be able to thank him enough. Shout out to Mary and her crew!

They great thing about Cartronix is that they have that hometown, care-about-the-customer feel to the place that always makes me feel at ease. Looking forward to being able to afford to fix my car's stereo and customizing it with some killer equipment. And maybe get that auto starter! Beats going to a chain store. Definitely worth the visit. And I like getting free cans of Nos drinks!

Jim Ullom is building a nice little niche brand for himself. All the Realtors in the area I've talked to have nothing but positive things to say about him and his work. He's also been very gracious to us when we've hosted social media events in his accommodating for-rent meeting space. And he'll always give great tips when I ask housing questions. I'm gonna take him up on his offer to help me find my first home in a couple years. Sincerely Nat Finn (try putting your name behind the review, MJ1971!)

I'm shopping around for the best prices for a trip to Palo Alto. Was turned onto Infinity by a few friends. Love what I've read so far. Like what I've seen. I feel I'd do much worse if I'd go anywhere else. Way to be awesome, y'all.
