The one feature of Google plus that I find to be the most helpful is the ability to adjust how much activity from a particular circle appears in your "All" stream. This is accomplished through the use of what I mentally refer to as a volume slider.
In the photo I've attached, you can see a few circles I've chosen to display. My Googlers circle is huge (thanks ), and if I had this circle's "volume" turned all the way up, I might miss stuff from my friends. So as you can see in the slider on the right, I turned them down to "none," effectively muting them. I instead just browse my Googlers circle independently (which I do all the time when my "All" stream gets a bit dead). I could even have turned it up just a little, or halfway and had my Googlers circle blend in with my other circles without overpowering it. I actually turned down the slider for my "Pages" circle as well, so I can browse them sort of like a news feed. Turning the volume all the way down is like "mute." Very cool. I'd love to see this more like a mixing board, where all the sliders were stacked vertically and I could tweak levels all at once.
This is just one of the many little features that I love about Google Plus.
