{Review}: Everyday Detox by Megan Gilmore
Last month, my sister and I did this cleanse by a doctor that shall not be named. The cleanse itself wasn't so terrible-- a shake hree times a day, plus two light meals, which is about all I have time for anyway these days. But the shake was pretty gross, ...

Review: Living With Intent by Mallika Chopra
So, that  last post  was really supposed to be a book review. When I started writing, I realized that before I could write the review, I needed to give some background and then it morphed into a post in and of itself. I'm here, parenting alone with the kids...

{Review}: Two Years Eight Months and Twenty-Eight Nights by Salman Rushdie
I have so many thoughts about this book, it's hard to know where to begin. First, I have to confess that though I knew of Salman Rushdie, thanks to his notoriety, this is the first book of his I've actually read. And now, I'm wondering what I've been missin...

I helped develop the ELA section of this  website over the past year and I think it can be a great resource for teachers. The website was created by a high school science teacher, and was built with a lot of feedback from other teachers currently active in the classroom.  The site is continually evolving over time in response to feedback and usage, so I encourage to try it out!  Follow me, and I'll follow you!
The teacher's central source for free lesson plans and teaching resources for K-12 math, science and more. Quickly and easily discover the best lesson materials, share with fellow teachers, and organize your lessons into libraries and playlists.

What a great experience, even if you'll never do it again! I grew up in Albany but the closest I got to spelunking was Howe Cavern. :)

Nancy, I love Howe's Caverns. That is a doable trip that I could take again. Thanks for stopping by.
