Not sure how long this will last, so took a screenshot. "Incredible Stories From Space" is listed on Amazon as the #1 Hot New Release in Astronomy and Astrophysics!! You may also have noticed it is listed as "temporarily out of stock" -- but you can still order it and you should get it soon! Kindle (and Nook) versions will be delivered today, I'm told. Thanks everyone for your support!! Here's link to book on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Incredible-Stories-Space-Behind-Scenes/dp/1624143172/

You can read an excerpt of my book, "Incredible Stories From Space" this week on Universe Today, from the chapter on the Curiosity Rover. I interviewed MSL project scientist Ashwin Vasavada and rover driver John Michael Morookian. Part 1 of the chapter today, more later tomorrow!

An update on my book about NASA's robotic missions, the new release date (in US/Canada) is Dec. 20! You can now pre-order and get it time for the holidays. And a little plug here, both Amazon and B&N have great sale prices right now. Thanks, everyone for your moral support during the delay in publishing :) More details here:

From the "bummer" department: There will be a delay in the publication of my book. There was a problem during production that wasn't detected until after it was printed, and so it will have to be reprinted. Hopefully the delay will only be a month or so, will keep everyone posted. You can read more about it on my blog.

Hey WSH Crew, wondering if you can help me out. I'm working on a chapter on the Hubble Space Telescope for my book. Of course all the images are iconic, but what are some unusual places you may have seen Hubble imagery used? I've seen fabric that had nebulae and galaxies, and wasn't there a band that used an image from Hubble on an album cover? I'd be grateful for any ideas you have! Thanks!

We were waiting for another part of Star Wars trilogy for 10 years. How was it? How different was it from previous movies? With movies looking so far in the future can we even discuss its scientific accuracy? +Paul Carr +Nancy Atkinson +Andrew Rader +Bob Novella

My thoughts on what to expect in space exploration in 2016! Happy New Year!
December is a month in which we usually summarize this ending year and decide how good it was. Let's leave that for later and look a bit into the future. What should we expect from the year 2016. +Antonio Paris +Nancy Atkinson +Pamela L. Gay
