Yam is a popular staple across West Africa and Ghana is the second world exporter after Nigeria. All the more reason to try this Yam Pie made using 2 meats as it's stuffing :D.

I made this yam pie using minced meat but without cooking the meat first to allow the meat flavour to cook with the yam. Fantastic results! Loved it! #Seemychow

A very popular local dish is Gari Fortor made from shredded roasted cassava which is then stirred into cooled down tomato sauce. its traditionally topped with fried egg but I went another way with a beef patty. tremendous experience.
