As a consistently serious critic of NPR, even I will admit that some of their recent posts -- and on-air stories -- have been better lately. However:

It would be nice if NPR even cared to learn the difference between FaceBook and Google Plus. The problem may be that some of their schlock posts here get hundreds of positive comments. In general though, folks on G+ appreciate serious discussion.
I'm not following you all. New music is a big part of NPR.
New music can often be wonderful. Glib, trite, slanted coverage -- not so much.
