NCED was outstanding! I was there for a military conference last week. The conference facilities were well supported with the multiple sizable rooms and A/V equipment. I could not believe how well your facility was resourced with everything from a ping pong table to a reasonably priced bar. Everything you could possibly need was right on site. The cafeteria was awesome with so many food choices every meal. The food was very good. What was an added pleasure was that you didn't have to worry about putting your plate on a scale to checkout. That always slows a line down. There was not a concern about every crouton and that made it that much more desirable to eat there. I was also thoroughly impressed with the staff. The front desk crew was always very pleasant, the cafeteria staff was constantly ensuring everything was stocked and clean and other staff that I would pass throughout the day was very courteous. Every interaction with the NCED/Marriott staff was great, as brief as the interaction may have been. A couple times I was talking with colleagues and someone (sometimes with a jacket and tie) would come and take my tray for me. Great service. The hotel rooms weren't large but certainly sufficient for the week and had everything needed. The wireless throughout the hotel made staying connected easy. My only regret is that I didn't have more time to get to the putting green, chipping range and use more of the available fitness equipment. I hope to get back to NCED some time soon. Thank you!

they offer a great amount of fun in their hotel, the pool, the sauna/spa, spa services, gym, lounge/bar etc...however this is the first hotel ive ever visited that had a STRICT one time through for FREE breakfast...n my husband and i were publicly yelled at by a staff member for getting a 2nd plate. no sign stating its a one time through. my reservations clearly stated a room with a view a week in advance...at check in i even asked again to make sure i got it, if not no big deal, however i was told Yes u have a room with a view!....it was of the parking lot....really?? n to top it off their rooms are SMALL.... pleasant bar/lounge staff though!! the ladies were very helpful with my drink selection and making me feel welcomed, great atmosphere in that area!

As a loyal Marriott guest, I booked a double room suite (promoted to sleep 4) for myself, my mid-teen grandson and his friend for a three-night stay. I was confused when told the NCED didn't award Marriott points although they use Marriott in their name/advertising. The 'suite' was actually two old and very small hotel rooms with a single door left open between them. A queen bed was in one room, a very small fold out couch and recliner in the other room. There were no linens for the fold out bed. The rooms were extremely warm but I assumed it would just take a little while to cool the rooms and turned the thermostat to 68 degrees. On our way to an appointment, I located the housekeeper who assured me linens would be put in our room. I returned a few hours later to find no bedding, called housekeeping and left a message. We went to dinner, returned at eleven pm, still no linens. I called the front desk and they said they would send housekeeping up. Thirty minutes later housekeeping showed up to ask what I needed. While again asking for linens for the fold out sofa, the housekeeper remarked on how warm our room was and said he would notify maintenance because the air conditioning was obviously not working. I followed him to housekeeping linen closet to get the linens. When I returned to my room, the key card had stopped working (boys had left the room because it was too warm) so I had to carry the bedding to the front desk at 11:35 pm., to have my keycard reset. The maintenance man arrived at 11:45 pm, checked the units and said the only way the rooms would cool is to keep the thermostat on 60 and explained the units were not like residential units. He changed out the refrigerator (boys had found it wasn't working) and, well after midnight, I started making beds for the boys. The bathroom was so small, I could flatten my palms on opposite walls at the same time (I'm 5'5" with normal arm span). A toilet and tub left less than a square yard to stand. The sink was just outside the bathroom, encased between two walls where my elbows could touch both walls at same time. I left early the next morning on a minor family emergency so my son/daughter in law came to stay with boys. I left a note for housekeeping asking them to leave the thermostats set on 60 and a $5 tip, then stopped by the front desk to inform them of the name change (I had prepaid for the stay). When my son and family returned to the hotel in the early evening, they found my note, money and housekeeping had never cleaned (there were no "privacy" tags on doors). At no time was I ever disrespectful or rude (I believe you get the best results being nice) and honestly, the staff was not rude: they just really didn't seem to give a rip if the guests were happy or not. I had reservations for second three night stay at the end of this month, but have cancelled and booked another hotel. I certainly did not experience Marriott service and would not recommend this hotel.

An abundance of amenities offsets the lack of space in the rooms. Food is good, average for cafeteria style. My biggest grip is location. There are nothing close to the hotel.

Home away from Home, this sums it up. I am USPS maintenance worker there for training (2 weeks). This is one scenario USPS hit a home-run out of the park!!! I could not ask for better, because this was the best! All staff, all smiles and all helpful! I met the vice president of conference center and hotel by chance, one in a million man! I highly recommend this place for whatever your travel needs are. You will NOT be disappointed!
