Amazing photograph. With all this technology people still need blankets.
What an incredible journey, and thank you for letting us be a part of it!
+Albert Lua thanks! I saw a report a few months back that suggested the ISS might be unmanned for a fairly lengthy period of time which could create issues in the long-term.
Welcome home and thank you +Chris Hadfield for giving so generously during your time on station. You have made an incredible difference.
Welcome home, glad you had a safe journey. Will certainly miss +Chris Hadfield pictures. It was amazing to have that site of our world. May your replacements long continue the practice.
Welcome home space heroes! And a huge "thank you" to +Chris Hadfield for sharing this expeience with us so generously! I hope, you'll be up there soon with google +Project Glass ..
Welcome heroes! Welcome to mother earth..
You're an inspiration Hadfield!
Welcome home - I know you just arrived... but maybe you might consider your next plans... say,  running for Prime Minister?
Welcome home. How was the ride in?
Welcome back to our beautiful home, and thanks for those beautiful shots by you from up there, :)
Disappointed that those are not Space Blankets.
Welcome back to the earth and many thanks for all the pictures and posts from the ISS.
Hi Mr space man. I saw iss once at night passing over nice.welcome home.
I'm pleased to see that they're back home safely. I'm also upset that they're back home. Send Chris back. We need more spaceman music videos.
Ken O
finally I am back
'Tis evening on the moorland free,
The starlit wave is still:
Home is the sailor from the sea,
The hunter from the hill.

Welcome back, Gentlemen.
Welcome home, did you have a nice free fall?
J Heyes
What? No guitar?
I guess the guitar stays up there for the next player. There're plenty more guitars on earth. Only one guitar in space.
Thanks for all are heroes.
Thank you from NewZealand for all the beautiful photos and interesting info.
A Star has returned safe to earth, methinks now a rock star :)
I have an 8 year old ready to go up thanks to you guys. Thanks for being such great ambassadors and welcome home.
Welcome home! Txs for the music videos, beautiful pics, & the night sky passovers!!
Glad you guys made it home safely. Chris's rendition of Space Oddity creeped me out a bit. Almost seemed to predict imminent doom. Welcome home!
that was a good show up there in space with the guitar...Commander Chris Hadfield !!!!! just Loved that
Chris Hadfield is a really awesome guy. He made all those YouTube videos in space!
Johnathan blundell...the space station changed hands 3 days ago....check out... iss ustream live
Welcome back Chris. You made space around earth to be our homes also. Job well done.
Doesnt this look like the "big 3" picture from WWII?
I wondered what returning to gravity must feel like - this kinda sums up my suspicions. Do you find yourselves dropping things for a while afterwards whilst getting used to them not staying where you leave them when you let go?
Yeah Sipho, me too! Has to be the ultimate adventure.

Is it a real place?
Of course its real...nasa dont lie, or do they!!
Nothing like a juicy double cheeseburger.... Thank you
Sean G
Welcome Home(:
Great Job..... Mission Accomplished!! You can now return home.....great job!
Yay safe and sound

Si!!!!!!!! Sanos y seguros
Always loved this about how the Russians greeted their returning astronauts. A group of citizens and techs rushing out to whatever field they land in brandishing lawn chairs and blankets! Nat Geo caught some great pics of this back in the 80's and 90's as well (pre ISS era).
Ground control to Major Tom. Welcome home!
That looks like a proper good feeling to be home. Nice one!
Welcome Commander- But I guess You didn't want to come out of the capsule after learning last night's 'leafs' debacle!!
They gave their all. Welcome home men. We thank you!!!
Welcome home. Hope you get used to that gravity thing quickly.
I know you just got back from space and probably can't walk quite right yet, but do you mind if we leave you covered with a blanket in this field for a photo op???
oh gush i think in space is quite cold let me take along my blanket.
Thank you so much chris for sharing your experiance. Thats the closest we'll ever get to being up there.
In Kazakhstan, why one's need a harbour while we have a spaceport )))
Love your video of ground controll to major tom, cool!
Welcome back, gentlemen! Glad you're all safe!
Steve Virgadamo - welcome home and congrats on a job well done! Thank you for your valor and service. Steve Virgadamo

Welcome Back and good Job!! Congrats!
Bon retour Chris! Thank you for your outstanding job. Not only did you make us proud, but more importantly... You made us dream!
A well deserved arrival party.  Apparently they are given some chairs and warm blankets to sit and rest from an intense emotional moments during reentry back home.
Back on earth after gaining exclusive experience. Good!
a greeting to the astronauts who went into space. many felcidades
"And now, our returning heroes reenact the Potsdam Conference for your enjoyment."
Does it feel like a million pounds of gravity are pushing down on you?
Καλώς ήλατε, έπειτα από 5 μήνες στο Διάστημα, σπίτι μας...
G'Day Mates, welcome back!
great nasa and discover new galaxy!!!
Thanks for your hard working but I have a question why they're sitting on these chairs and why they are coverd with a blanket?
Why they sit on Chairs - Since they have been in space for 5 months with no Gravity then you come back to earth where there is gravity you gonna feel a little bit heavy on your legs- think of it like a baby walking for the first time. the blankets Hmmm i dont know maybe its cold i mean everyone is wearing Winter Jackets...but thats my opinion on it.
Welcome home guys, I will miss Chris Hadfields Tumblr updates though.
WElcome Back both my wife and myself follwed your Expedition every day/night and NASA TV
Welcome back! I watched your experiments video. It's so interesting! Thank you!!
