Story
Introduction
Myriam Joire (tnkgrl) was born wearing combat boots and holding a keyboard; moments later she picked up a soldering iron. She's been stomping, typing and hacking ever since. After spending years being a code-monkey in the video game industry, she joined Engadget as senior mobile editor and became In(ternet) famous. She’s been called a “personality” and a “pundit“, but mostly she’s a tomboy with a fondness for other queers, punks, nerds, and misbegotten social deviants. She now pimps watches as the product evangelist for Pebble. She's based in San Francisco.

I think AT&T's finally killed legacy 2G support in my hood… I'm not getting service on US 2G-only devices (Nokia X, YotaPhone) anymore!

It's bizarre, something must be changing with the reframed 1900 band in Vegas to a higher 4G speed on T-Mobile. I wonder if they temporarily downgraded the service during transition.

The only time I'm interested in a "brogrammer" is if he's going to be in bed with me. And if that is the case, I doubt he'll be making misogynistic statements like that CouchDB thing... (And he wouldn't be an idiot, too... soooo)

I was scrolling through my LinkedIn account today, and did notice the lack of women in the suggestions (and a fair chunk of the women I did know). It was a bit sad. I'm not really sure how I feel... (It isn't good, I will say that.)
