Outstanding service with friendly staff. Dr. Stephanie health program is really working to lower my blood sugar and my blood pressure. I have even lost weight since starting the program. Everyone should consider their health program to restore their vitality and to achieve optimal health. They are professional and consider the whole person (body) during treatment. MLB

Everyone at living health is SO nice !! They made sure I got everything I needed for my treatment, and we're always there when I needed something or had any questions. I definitely recommend living health to anyone who is looking for comprehensive medical care that doesn't involve a million prescriptions. Their philosophy is really the right way to view health.

I've been coming to Living Health for about 5 years and I feel better than I ever have. Initially I came with shoulder pain and after 2 or 3 visits my shoulder pain was gone. The doctors are great, thorough and friendly and the staff knows you by name. I highly recommend this office!

I went to the free seminar put on by this practice and was very excited about what they had to say. There was much importance placed, for those who scheduled to see the doctor, on bringing their significant other. My initial appointment, March 4th, did not work and I had to reschedule. This is where this practice got back on the train and became the same as every other terribly organized practice. I called the first time and spoke with a woman who told me she would put it in the books for March 9th, even though the scheduling person for Dr. Chaney's office wasn't there. I called back around Feb 21st to confirm things, got the messaging service and he assured me I would get a call back. On Feb 22nd, I have a very nice voicemail from Ashley telling me I was all set for the rescheduled appointment, March 9th at 5pm. At this point, I figure I'm all set and I was excited, even took the day off from work so I was all set. However, today, Feb 26th, I get a phone call and the woman first asks if I was going to the seminar, which I already went to. I let her know this and that I was confirmed for the 9th of March. She starts asking me if I can do March 3rd at 5. To my shock, she informs me my confirmed appointment is no longer available. I made the appointment around my schedule and my girlfriend's schedule AND took a day off to make sure I could be there. Now I was getting all kinds of conflicting information and it is very frustrating. This practice got me all excited based on the fact that they were different and approached things differently. This practice is very disorganized and no differnet than anyone else. I will continue to improve my health but it will not be through a practice that insults my time and disrespects their clients in this manner.

I apologize for the confusion in regards to your initial appointment. I have reviewed our records; spoke to Ashlee, Essence and Dr. Chaney about your concerns. I show you called on February 18th requesting to reschedule your appointment to March 9th @ 5pm. As stated at the seminar, if you are unable to keep your appointment for any reason, you may not be able to reschedule due to the doctors schedule being over booked. Therefore when your call was received by Ashlee, our office receptionist, she then forwarded your request to Essence, Dr. Chaney’s receptionist. Essence was not able to reschedule your appointment without getting Dr. Chaney’s approval. As you can imagine, Dr. Chaney’s schedule fills up very quickly and unfortunately by the time she received the approval to reschedule you, the date you requested was no longer available but we were able to offer other appointment times. Since Essence had not spoken with you before, when she called she was introducing herself and identifying the office. She wanted to make sure you knew where she was calling from and therefore she referenced the seminar. She was not asking if you wanted to attend the seminar but simply mentioning that you had attended and is very sorry that her communication was not clearer. In speaking with Ashlee, she expressed how sorry she is that her message you made you feel that our office is unprofessional and disorganized. The thought that you would not visit our office due to a miscommunication on her part, really makes her feel bad. I understand how frustrating this situation must have been for you and your girlfriend; coordinating schedules and changing things around. It is for that reason that at the seminar, before we schedule anyone, we ask if the appointment chosen will work for all parties involved. We even encourage attendees to call their significant others while they’re at the seminar just to make sure the date they picked will work. I hope that you do not allow this misunderstanding, prevent you from taking advantage of the opportunity to address your concerns with Dr. Chaney. Please feel free to call Essence to schedule for one of the available dates offered to you. Angela M-Office Manager

I just had to write and let you know how happy and satisfied I am with the care that I am receiving at Living Health! Dr. Andrew has been wonderful at explaining everything to me about my treatment and shows genuine concern when I do mention that something is not feeling quite right. I got a lot of great information from his spine lecture and it has made me more aware of my movements and things that effect my body and health. I came to the practice in February in extreme pain and numbness in my lower back and left leg due to sciatica. With in weeks, he got me so a point of not having any pain and the numbness is totally gone. As for the staff. I cannot say enough about how friendly and out going everyone is. From the big hello I get every time I walk in from TJ and hellos from Michelle and Elsie as they see me in passing. They all make me feel welcome. Back in the therapy area, Mike, Bobbie and Kate are beyond excellent! Their great spirit and concern for their patients shows in everything they do. I have in this short time found a great joy in seeing them and going through the traction and stim therapy. They have that special way of making everyone feel relaxed in what can be at times uncomfortable treatments. It is also nice that I have met many patients while in the therapy area, and we are all helping each other through therapy by chatting with each other, especially in the room where we are getting our stim and ice treatments. Sometimes we even get bumbed out when our 15 mins are up. This is all a great testament on how Living Health is helping so many people out who are in pain and/or trying to better their lives and health. Once I get past my back issues I want to continue on with the weight loss program to continue on to my total health. Thank you so much for being there for me when I needed the help.

I am so happy that I went to these healers. Everyone there has a great, fun attitude and they take care of their customers. Dr. Andrew has taken care of my back problems, and has become a friend along the way. Bobbi, and Mike are always willing to do a little extra, and are pleasant professional, and good at what they do. It was a little challenging at first, cause their service isn't cheap, and I had to go for 12 weeks. But, since i have taken care of a year long problem, I am satisfied, and super happy that i went to them. Thanks for all that you do.

I am being treated for neuropathy reversal in both of my feet. The pain in my right toe was so bad I couldn't sleep with any bed covers or blankets on. I went to get several pedicures because I thought I kept having ingrown toe nails not knowing it was pain related to neuropathy. Only after having one of the treatments I no longer had pain in my right toe! I could sleep with the covers on which was great since it was winter and cold. I'm in my last 4 weeks of treatment and feel much better. Would recommend Living Health to anyone with neuropathy.

I was scheduled for a free seminar on March 8th. The seminar was scheduled to start at 6 and I arrived at 6:05. I was greeted by a receptionist who promptly told me I would have to reschedule as the seminar had started. I battled rush hour traffic from Baltimore to arrive at 6:05 to Annapolis. As I was leaving the receptionist then asked my name to have someone contact me to thank you. I am entirely responsible for being 5 minutes behind. However if you value client service in anyway, there are other good physician run weight loss programs in the area with more professional help. In the future the receptionist may want to greet and ask a potential patient's name BEFORE telling them they will have to reschedule. In addition, the confirmation email should include that it is a good idea to arrive 10 minutes prior to the seminar because the seminar will start promptly at 6 admittance will be allowed after 6 p.m. I would have rescheduled when my navigation updated my ETA to 6:03 p.m. Dr. Chaney may be great but an unprofessional staff and inflexible policies make me want to avoid this practice at all costs.

I would first like to thank you for your feedback. We are constantly working to improve our practice and the patient experience. I can image the frustration of battling rush hour traffic only to find that you are not allowed into a seminar because you arrived a “little” late. Dr. Chaney provides this free seminar after a full day of seeing patients and recognizes that not only is her time valuable so are others therefore she is very mindful to start her seminars on time or as close as possible. We find that the majority of attendees appreciate this, especially at the end of the day. Dr. Chaney’s seminar is full of very important information and believe it or not, missing 5-10 minutes of it can make a difference. It is also very disruptive to the Dr. as well as the attendees that arrive on time, to seat people once the seminar starts and therefore we do have a no admittance policy, for all our seminars, once the Dr. has started speaking. As with most seminars there is a registration/sign-in process and I guess we just take it for granted that attendees will arrive early to register and secure a seat prior to the scheduled start of the seminar. I appreciate your suggestion and going forward we will include in the confirmation email that the attendee should arrive 5-10 minutes early because the seminar starts promptly and no admittance will be allowed once the Dr. begins. I am sorry that you felt that our staff was unprofessional for adhering to our policy and time table. We make every effort to respect our patients and potential patient’s time and try as hard as possible to be timely. In fact, one of the most frequent comments I hear from our patients is that they appreciate that they don’t have to wait 30-45 minutes to see the Practitioner for their scheduled appointments, like they do at other offices. You are absolutely correct our receptionist should have greeted you and asked your name prior to informing you that the seminar had already started and therefore you would need to reschedule and I will definitely address that with her. I am sure that there are other weight loss programs in the area however I do not believe that there are any that are as individualized, holistic and results based as ours. I hope that you do not allow your experience yesterday deter you from registering for a future seminar, so you can hear about what makes us different from the rest. Angela Muse-Office Manager
