A new campaign called "Know Your Girls" has just begun to raise awareness about breast cancer targets black women, who are at a higher risk of dying from breast cancer than white women. The website features resources that help women navigate breast cancer risk factors, recognize changes in their own breasts and be prepared to have a conversation with their doctor, with the goal to save more lives. #KnowYourGirls #PassItOn #FactFriday https://knowyourgirls.org/

Breast and cervical cancer are huge killers in Nigeria, accounting for half the 100,000 cancer deaths each year. This August, D’Angels and another female biker group in Lagos, Amazon Motorcycle Club, plan to provide free screening to 5,000 women, a significant undertaking in a country where many lack access to proper health care.
