There are direct and indirect economic benefits to venues that feature live music. Many of them know this but will deny it so they can continue to get it for cheap. As the musicians who make the music, we need to learn when to say no.

Just a reminder that we have a membership meeting this Saturday from 1-3PM in studio 909. A hui hou!

Aloha members! We are currently seeking committee members for the Wage & Scales committee. We are looking for musicians across all of us to help us set minimum rates. You must be a member in good standing of local 677. Please PM me or email if you are interested in participating. All islands welcome! There will likely be only a few meetings needed as we would like to have these completed by next month. Mahalo!
