It's Soft Shell season and this gorgeous crab swam right up to the restaurant today. Chef Erik Veney fried it and served it with a delicious Covey Rise Farms Succotash. Yum! We have a few left for tonight's dinner service. Who's in?

April, she showers the crop-rich fields...
Assuring Summer's bountiful yields...
Umbrella days spur some to complain...
--How dreadful and dreary is the rain--
Still April, she cares not that you care,
She'll drench your clothes & stylish hair!
With such an important job to do...
She says Shut up, this is bigger than YOU!
Neither old dislike nor new disdain,
Have powers to stop the April Rain!

If you are looking for post-fest refreshment and hospitality, we recommend indulging in this Pineapple Plantation on our balcony or at our bar. Made with Don Q Cristal Rum, fresh pineapple puree, muddled mint leaves, lime juice and soda, it's a sublime way to cap off a musical day.

The service was amazing. We were very poorly dressed for the place, one of us was wearing shorts and I was wearing a black and neon T-shirt. However, the service and attention was par to none. The food, well the food was the best part of course. I had the Salmon and it is undoubtedly one of the best I have tasted. You can eat Salmon anywhere now a days but few places prepare it correctly, this is one of those places.

Probably my favorite meal on the trip. Their bread pudding rocked! Plus it's a super cool building/ atmosphere and they had really great servers. Definitely give this place a try!

So so so awesome!!! Crepes were amazing, and so was the ambiance. Definitely going to return. Our server Gary was also the best.

The servings are generous for the price, especially considering the ambience. However, the Eggs Benedict I received in my last visit was slightly disappointing. Order the crepes on your first visit. Their pork chop is my favorite.

Solid New Orleans style restaurant with big, fancy dining rooms, a cool little bar in the back and it's right downtown near Cafe Du Monde and Frenchman street. Jackson Square is a great section of the city and they are right on the corner.. The savory cheesecake was tremendous. Really delicious. The duck with fig reduction was very nice, but not outstanding. I found the pecan pie to be way too sweet and the bread pudding was solid. The drinks were very good and the service was extremely friendly.

I get the crawfish and goat cheese crepes at every French Quarter Fest. Have eaten inside the restaurant twice for lunch. Loved it both times. Food is excellent and original. Service is a little on the slow side. Don't be in a hurry. Prices are very reasonable for a French Quarter restaurant.

Pretentious... Looks ok and haute cuisine, but reality is different. Food was below average, and airco on stand blizzard, so we couldn't smell / taste the wine anymore, also food cooled off fast... Next time local delicacies instead of looks. If you want to be high quality, everything counts.
