Today marks the three-year anniversary of the brilliant Everyday Sexism Project - hoorah!... well, sort of. The fact that it needs to exist only highlights how far we still have to go in the fight to achieve gender equality - as Mumsnetters can (unfortunately) attest to. #everydaysexism
Mumsnetters share examples of everyday sexism they have experienced.

It began with a simple question from a concerned Mumsnetter
"If you've driven through a safari park," she wondered, "did the monkeys really try to eat your car? I'm driving a hire car until mine is fixed, and I'm not keen to return it with missing wipers etc. Is all that just a myth, or should I not do it?"
Is the monkey enclosure the best place to drive your car through? Or do monkeys get a bad rap?

Wrong. Parents are not keeping an eye on their kids activities properly. It is up to us to make sure that they are only seeing what we want them to see. Censoring too much does lead to some things been unavailable which can be useful. Also, some things even when censorship is in place, still get through and parents are oblivious to this cos they become complacent. Parents need to take full ownership, get to grips with how this stuff works and take responsibility for one. We manage it. We have boight our kids a Hudl tablet each and they are brilliant for locking things down and even limiting your kids time on them. As much as i don't like tescos, they dam well got this tablet spot on.
