. The fact this post is a day late tells you all you need to know about my week.  And the fact I didnt get a chance to comment on the posts linked up last week tells you even more.   Sorry fellow bloggers, I am coming to you as soon as hit publish on […]
My Week has been full on, relentless and exhausting. Starting in Barbados and ending on the sofa. Via a three day festival in Dorset.

.   On Monday night last week we had a barbecue on the beach in Holetown, Barbados.   The setting couldn’t have been more perfect.  Sunset.  A deserted beach.   The Caribbean Sea gently lapping onto the sand.   Friends.  Rum punch.   Fish we had caught…
I have a new dream property. That needs a dream kitchen. And a bit of a Hoover. But the view is spectacular. I only need £3 Million ish. You in?

. This little church close to the Folkestone Marine Park in Holetown is quiet and unassuming yet steeped in history, well it would be, it stands on ground that was consecrated in the 1600s.   It is on an area known as “God’s Acre” and is where the first…
The St James Church in Holetown Barbados is undeniably old. And well worth a visit if you have half an hour spare. It's the perfect spot to cool down

The Gallery on the blog today and the theme is "Time". Where the hell does it go?!! I am pondering....

/   Time.  The one thing we can’t buy that I really wish we could.   It is possibly the most important commodity.   Who wouldn’t want to buy more time? As you may have guessed I have been pondering time and life in general a lot recently.   Thinking I…
Time. Where the hell does it go? I wish I knew. It is the theme for the Gallery today and I have been pondering the past two years.

How to play the Royal Westmoreland Golf Course @RoyalWM with a Panoramic Sphere Photo shot of every tee

.   You can’t spend time on the Royal Westmoreland Golf Course in Barbados and not play it.   Well you can.  I don’t play golf so I don’t but Mr B does so whilst he plays a round I go with him to caddy for him take photos and get in the way . […]
So how do you play the 18 holes of the Royal Westmoreland Golf Course? Mr B tells you, and I show you the tee for each of the holes.

the #MyWeek linky is open. What have you been up to this week? Or have planned for next week?

. I realised this week that I need to really practice my holiday skills.   I don’t mean that as an excuse to take more holidays, I mean it because I don’t find holidays relaxing and that is just plain wrong.   First of all I don’t sleep.  So I have been…
The #MyWeek linky is live again. I would love to hear what you have been up to this week. We have had a busy one, mostly eating and drinking to be honest

. Another great theme for The Gallery this week:  Home Comforts.   Thoughts of the one thing that that we cannot live without.  Of course I have lots of things I think I cannot live without, but obviously I can as they are all at home.  And well, I am…

.   Along every coast road in Barbados there is a fish market.   It might be an one governed by the Island’s Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries, or it could be a table at the end of somebody’s drive.  Either way, you know it is going some of the best…
Fish markets Bajan style can either be stone built with several large freezers full of crushed ice, or guys with a table. Either way the fish is fresh!

Over on the blog today it is the My Week linky. Would love you to join in #MyWeek Tell me about your week.

This picture, taken this week, made me laugh so I am sharing.  We had been to Sainsburys and Ellie ended up carrying all the beer, and I had the bags of food.   Nothing like making your teen look like an alcoholic to cement your nomination for Mother of…
Another busy one on #MyWeek this week. What have you been up to? I would love to hear from you

Introduction

Mum of three, wife of one.   Blogging since April 2011 and thrilled to have been nominated for various awards and won some too.   Even more thrilled to have been a part of Team Honk that raised awareness of the good work being done in Africa by Comic Relief, and of helping to raise over £40,000 in two years for them.

Ever so slightly bonkers and most likely to be heard saying "oh yeah, I have a story about them" over a pint of Martini and lemonade.
Bragging rights
Finalist in the BiBs 2012. Winner of Social Media Category of the BiBs in 2013. And winner in the Commentary category for BiBs 2013 for work with Team Honk. First woman to be invited to a male dominated sheep grab in the desert of Saudi Arabia. And in 2014 chatted about how bloggers may be able to help end world poverty by 2030 with Richard Curtis (yes THE Richard Curtis) and how blogging is a force for good with David Cameron in Downing Street. MADs Award finalist too
