"A bit of musical trivia for classical and rock fans alike: In 1964, 19-year-old violinist Itzhak Perlman made his second appearance on Ed Sullivan — the same night that the Rolling Stones made their Sullivan debut...."  Elaine Schmidt of the +Milwaukee Journal Sentinel talks with +Itzhak Perlman before our one-night-only concert this evening.
Perlman will play the Mendelssohn Violin Concerto in E minor with the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra on April 28.

Among the finest orchestras in the country, the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra is the largest cultural organization in Wisconsin. Since its inception in 1959, the orchestra has received critical acclaim for artistic excellence.
