I've always wanted to try this for versatility(s) sake. Don't know if I'd ever use it, but another tool in the shed is always welcome.

Yes I do have options other then pocket holes the question to ask is can the customer afford them that's all that matters in the end, what the customer wants.

You are correct Dave, I use pocket hole joinery on 99% of my cabinets. Mostly on face frames. In that application, for speed of construction, strength of joint, and cost ratio for customer thats the only way to go. How many people really want to spend what it would cost to mortise and tenon there face frames that no one could ever see. Point is for the people bashing pocket hole joinery they have no idea what it takes to make a living woodworking.

Ya may want to cut a small notch in that squaring caul in the corner. If you get a little glue squeeze out. You can glue that caul in. Don't ask how I know that. :)
