Very nice place and staff is very polite and helpful. However the resort doesn't have anything for guests during off season, and for the pricing you would expect at least a morning donut and coffee.
Response from the owner - 6 months ago
Glad to hear you enjoyed the staff and the facilities! Unfortunately, due to the limited resources of the hotel during off-season, we do limit the amenities we offer. We apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused you. We would love to have you come visit us again!

Stayed here a couple years ago in one of the smallest rms I've ever seen in my whole life! More like a closet with a bed in it. It seemed like it was individually owned then rented out nightly by this hotel. The hot tub is the kind you buy for personal use in a home...yuk! It was old & seemed dirty. The pool seemed nice but we were not allowed to use it because a wedding party booked it so it was closed to the other guests. Our bed had a bail or screw sticking out of the headboard...dangerous!!! I keep getting circulars for this place but trust me, even if it were free I would never stay here again!!

Absolutely loved this place and the employes were so friendly, right there all the time to help. We are here now for the Blues & Brews Festival and have the 2 bedroom/2 bathroom suite. Beautiful view from rooms 3006 - 3008. Would definitely stay here again.

Best Hotel in Mountain Village, not as expensive as the others, limited parking, but whatever. Nice views and Good Service! Very cool bar by the pool, too!

Just got back from this place a week ago and everything was fantastic! Rooms were spectacular at a good price, staff was very helpful and polite! anything we needed they took care of for us! Will with out a doubt be going back! Oh and get the breakfast burrito for breakfast at the lodge.. AMAZING!! Their were 2 things i wasn't to fond of... First was the 20$ a night parking but whatever... do valet parking to get some what of your money worth :) and second was we had a minor leak next to our bed by the window... not disturbing other than waking up and stepping on it... We told the front desk and they happily gave us a generously cheaper rate and a upgrade to a new room! We will be going back soon!

Me, my partner and two other friends had a great time staying in Telluride at Mountain Lodge resort. Great living room, washing machine, full kitchen, wireless internet, and very very comfortable king size beds. Ski-in, ski-out a minute from the front door, close to supermarket and gondola transport to the rest of the village or down to the town. The lodge reception building is gorgeous in a huge, cabin like way. We didn't try the hot tubs but many did.

We really enjoyed our stay at Mountain Lodge except one thing. First the good things: 1) The location: Our room was right on the slopes. We just put on our gear and skied down to lift 10. Very convienient. Close to the gondola, just hopped on and rode into the center of Mountain Village or continued on into Telluride. 2) The staff: They were great! Heather, Sharon, Steve, etc. were all very willing to accomodate us. When we first arrived we requested a larger room and Heather did everything possible to accomodate us. 3) The amenities: Heated pool, hot tub and jacuzzi., Comfortable beds with feather blankets. Great view from our room. Free internet access and great tv channel options. The only bad thing is that the walls are paper thin and they allow pets. We stayed 6 nights. The first 5 nights were pretty uneventful because we had quiet neighbors. Occasionally I heard the people in the room next door and it sounded like they were right in the room with us but it wasn't too annoying. However I thought it would be a nightmare if there was a screaming baby in there. Well, on the final night my nightmare became reality. Not one but two screaming toddlers and a mother screaming at the toddlers. Also a large dog barking everytime he heard a noise such as when we opened and closed a door or cabinet. Screaming, barking, banging, all seemed liked it was right in the room with us! It was horrible. I can understand there is nothing that can be done about screaming toddlers but a big loud dog? Why would they permit this? I had suggested that they house the dogs in a separate kennel area. Anyway, I would suggest staying here if you can get a good price and want to take your chances that you don't get loud neighbors.

Forbes just named #Telluride  Top 10 Ski Towns In America!

http://www.forbes.com/pictures/ehkj45egihd/telluride-co/
Set in a box canyon and surrounded by protected wilderness, Telluride is like an island of charm and outdoor recreation in the San Juan Mountains of southwestern Colorado. With a long cowboy, outlaw and mining history, Telluride retains its Old West charms with colorful Victorian architecture, historic saloons and hotels, and sits right at the base of the slopes so it is possible to enjoy ski-in/ski-out barbecue lunch or après. A first-of-its-kin...

Smart skiers know that spring can be the best time to shred, with longer, sun-soaked days and extremely surfy snow conditions. Whether you’re maximizing your 2014–15 ski pass or looking for a quick mountain escape, there’s still time to hit the slopes this season at these top seven spring skiing destinations.
