One of the world’s greatest motorcycle races transforms again.

#Daytona #Daytona200 #motorcycle #racing
Pulling into the camping area at the Daytona 200 is a reunion of sorts for me, but this year seemed a bit different than the last few years.

+Paul Rey Agree with COTA being a better track. The problem is it's the Daytona 200. If you take it away from there, it's not the Daytona 200 any more! In my mind the only way to do that is to completely re-invent the race in order to bring it to another venue, perhaps in alignment with the TT series being talked about. But then you would be scuttling all of that history. Would anyone go if the race were not at Daytona? Hard to say. If aligned with the TT series and the TT field were going to ride in it, I would say yes, absolutely! But on it's own I am not so optimistic. It's a difficult thing to navigate through.

Frankly I find the 2.9 mile Motorcycle racing layout at Daytona to be pretty good. It just needs a little enhancement and some safety additions. I love watching them haul ass down the NASCAR sections and watching all of the drafting and dicing that happens. For me that is part of the appeal. The other thing is the pit stops. I think this is a huge part of the proceedings! It's part of what makes this race unique and why it needs to continue, be it in its current form, the Daytona 200, or as a refreshed and re-created race somewhere else.

Rethink what was trying to be done with the Stradale. If adv bikes take the place of sport tourers,  you'll help yourself by making a good looking one.
Haven't seen anybody's adv bike that didn't look unnecessarily large or too blocky or too angular in the flow of the body style.
Take the fake fender beak off Ducati's Hypermotard and you're starting in the right direction with a adv bike.

Refined or bland?

#Suzuki #review
The Suzuki GSX-S750 is a competent motorcycle with the mechanical astuteness and uninspired confidence often associated with Japanese UJMs.

Bond loves his motorcycle chases. Have you seen all of these movies? Did we miss any incredible motorcycle chases?
The original plan was Top 10 James Bond Motorcycle Chase Scenes. Sadly, it seems like there are only about five or six good ones, so we expanded the list to include other movies.

The ‪#‎Yamaha‬ YZF-R3 is a bike gentle enough for a new rider, yet entertaining enough for an experienced rider to still have some fun.

Great price, I'm sure quality, and looks like it will be fun. Yamaha Might have a real winner with this bike. I'm looking forward to a Naked version (Fz-03) come next year too.

Pick one: #Ducati or #Triumph?

See how we stacked them up against each other and enjoy another awesome MO #video!
In decades past, a scrambler was a street motorcycle stripped down and optimized for off-road use. We compare Ducati's and Triumph's interpretations.

The Helibar TracStars adjust the handlebar angle, relieving pressure from your wrists at cruising speed but not placing you all the way upright either.
