I've only ever seen this place as the old Lion hotel before so Motif was a nice modern change for the building. Staff are nice and hotel rooms are clean and spacious. Views mostly are of surrounding buildings but you have some good views of the seafront if you are in the right rooms. Meeting rooms are good in size and the provisions available for breakfast are decent. Like most hotels now, the provided amenities are sufficient but you need to call to request certain things. I would definitely come here again if an opportunity exists. Early bird parking all day is about $14.

I can only comment on the location and lobby area of this hotel since I didn't stay here. Hotel is conveniently located in downtown with easy access to Pike Market, link/subway and convention center. Lobby was clean and welcoming. Staff were helpful and friendly.

The Motif is essentially an old, dilapidated hotel with a fresh coat of paint and a swanky facade. Low quality materials all over, shoddy workmanship, and a complete and utter lack of sensical hotel design. What do I mean about lack of design? There are absolutely NO STAIRS accessible to guests who just don't want or need to use the elevator. Want to go from the 5th floor to the 6th floor during happy hour? Better be ready to wait 10min for an elevator to finally arrive, because there's no way to just take a flight of stairs up one floor. There are staff and fire escape stairs for emergencies, but nothing available for guests to use at their leisure. Overall overpriced and not recommended.

It's definitely a well done setup with s great terrace boasting games such as ping pong and shuffle board. The down side was two fold, the acoustics kind is stink, there was barely anyone there but between some light overhead music and the few conversations going in it was near impossible to hold a coherent conversation and my hearing has no issues at least none I'm aware of. Secondly the waitress we had forgot us which I would have thought impossible given the tiny smattering of guests, she then got flustered with is saying "well I had no idea you were going somewhere else". Attempting to deflect her failing onto her patrons was simply insulting. The drinks were good though when they got there.

A decent hotel. The concierge was friendly and helpful, and the room was clean. I didn't stay very long so I didn't get to try out many of the amenities, but there is a restaurant located in the hotel.

I am happy with my stay here so far. The staff has been very friendly all round, the wine tasting every evening is a nice perk and the location is just awesome! We're less than a 10 minute walk away from Pike's Place and there are lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance. My only complaint is that the bathroom seems a little old, drainage isn't very good in the sink. But to be fair I haven't requested a room change, so it's not a big deal.

The bar is a club (seriously, there was a dj spinning at 6pm on a Thursday) and there is no information in the room about whether this place has a pool or gym. Pretty much just magazines and a room service menu. The wifi is typically awful for a hotel but it doesn't require annoying sign ins which is nice. The views are nice with the exception of the condo building right in the middle of our 18th floor water view. Location is great.

Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Nice fitness center and restaurant with free ping pong and shuffle board available. Free Wi-Fi, but spotty with weak signal. Overall a good experience.
