Ringing in a revolution on Linux IoT clouds!

Micropython with ASYNC/AWAIT coroutines running on ARM microcontrollers with 200 KILOBYTES of flash and 8 KILOBYTES of memory. Unbeatable!

Development - compared to C/C++ with crosscompiling, ... all that stuff - is felt around 20x faster, since it allows to edit on the microcontroller itself. This is unseen before!

Python also is a first-class citizen on Ubuntu Gnome standard desktop. Python Gnome bindings are always uptodate!!!! And #Kivy allows you to program with Python on Android.

My urgent advice: Learn Python! It not only dominates the AI world (TensorFlow, Jupyter notebook), now it begins to rule the embedded world, too!

Have fun!

Python Machine Learning Prediction with a Flask REST API

Employing Python to make machine learning predictions can be a daunting task, especially if your goal is to create a real-time solution. However, TensorFlow and scikit-learn can significantly speed up implementation. In this article, Toptal Python Developer Guillaume Ferry outlines a simple architecture that should help you progress from a basic proof of concept to a minimum viable product without much hassle.

Need some ?
So you want to play with a compute cluster but don't have a lot of cash? Maybe you don't want a big investment? You say it needs to run python (micropython) too? Here you go.

Broccoli - distributed task queues for ESP32 cluster
https://github.com/Wei1234c/Broccoli/blob/master/notebooks/demo/Broccoli_readme_en.md

ESP32s are small, dual core, micro-controllers, with built in WIFI. They can be had for roughly $7.00, each, delivered, via boat. These combined with a powered USB hub is all you need for your own compute cluster. Sure, it won't bring much computing power to the table. But you'll get plenty of cluster experience.

How To Create a Twitter App and API Interface Via Python

Here is how we can use a Python API to connect to a Twitter account using the Twitter library. Specifically, this API allows a user to extract high quantities of data pertaining to a specific Twitter account, as well as directly control a Twitter account from the Python platform.
