Atmosphere was great, private and comfortable. Good food, but it was expensive and took over an hour to be delivered to the table. If the wait time and prices improved, I might go back.

Fantastic food. I loved my veal ribs on top of a risotto. As well they had a microbrew from the mid-west that was unfiltered and terrific. It's in a strip mall so not the best location. But I am finding that to be a trend among great Italian restaurants in Southern California.

Nothing special about the food, uncaring service and arrogant management. A negative post will bring you a message to take your business to C&O down the street. At least C&O wants their customers to have a pleasant dining experience. I am baffled by 5 star reviews for this disappointing place.

LOVE EVERYTHING. We actually were going to try something else but so glad we walked upstairs to this gem. Mossimo greeted us, he is from Rome originally. He and the staff were very inviting and quite hospitable. I had the tomato soup which was sooooo good. George had the pasta appetizer, was seasoned great and noodles cooked correctly. The albacore tuna was incredible with a olive tapenade on top all over zucchini. The beef short rib with thin green beans was so delicious, I ate every bite but I did share with my man. We had the cannoli and the chocolate torte with gelato for dessert along with coffee and tea to top off our dining experience. We ate outside on the terrace, they had romantic music playing and the fire pit was great touch. Overall we will be going back and recommend this spot.

Finally, a genuine yet casual Italian spot on the westside. What a gem of a place! LA needs more of these. You can taste the quality and passion in every bite. I go for the handmade pastas which all come with light sauces. My pasta faves are pappardelle with ragu, squid ink seafood pasta and gnocchi (when it's on the menu). I'm not big on meat but my carnivorous friends have had the lamb shank & Kurobuta pork chop. Shot them straight up to heaven. Specials are always winners. Dessert I understand is all made in the kitchen. Panna cotta, best in LA. Had my birthday party on the patio. Owner put together a fantastic menu of beautifully presented finger food and then pasta to share. Have also had clients for dinner in their beautiful private room. Absolute class. Service is top. Take my hat off to the owners for doing a great job sharing their culinary heritage. If you live on the westside & love Italian, you must experience Mosto.
