Great location, and good but pricey food. Bit dated interior, but more than compensated by the stunning views on a clear day.

I started going to the Distillery about 11 months ago and have since then become a regular. There are always friendly faces, yummy food, and a great wait staff! The best time to go there is just before sunset (which is AMAZING to watch!!). You can grab a drink and head on out to the patio overlooking the breathtaking pacific ocean. You can say hello to some visiting pooches and hang out at the fire pits, which always keep me warm and toasty no matter how chilly it is. The locals who usually hang out at near the bar are always so much fun to talk to. It feels like we are all an extended family. No matter who you are, or where you've come from, you're welcome! The food is extremely good as well! Which is definitely a plus. My favorites are the Filet Mignon, Pasta Torres, Cheeseburger, Quesadilla, Sliders, Corn Dogs, Cheesy Garlic Bread, Spinach Salad, Artichoke Hearts, Clam Chowder, and every damn cocktail made at the bar haha. The best part is that every Friday they have the Specials deal where for a fixed price you get a unique 3-course meal. They are different every week and are customized for what's in season and what month it is. The dishes are always delicious and so creative!! For the sports fans out there they have some great TVs always tuned to one of the games in the bar and also a HUGE one downstairs. It's pretty cool to have one restaurant cater to so many different kinds of people; You have the tourists visiting the coast, the couples on a romantic date, the kids and parents, the patio pups, and the regulars laughing it up at the bar. Couldn't ask for anything better! Love this place!

First thing's first - if you check in on Foursquare you get a free drink. That was nice. The views were AMAZING. If there'd been a seat available, the place to go is out on the lower patio with the bonfires and the beach beyond. Now the food. We spent $70 on 3 appetizers, one beer, and three sodas. My husband and I shared the crab cakes, and they were a huge disappointment. Canned crab, a pathetic excuse for an aioli, and they tasted of pan grease. Hardly worth the $18 we paid for them. The kids shared the corn dogs appetizer, and we all snacked on the garlic fries, which was the best of what we ordered. Their bloody mary was good. It was my free drink with the foursquare check in, else that would have added $10 to the bill.

A fairly unique place north of Half Moon Bay. They have a killer dog friendly patio that overlooks the ocean. Decent craft beer selection and nice menu choice- everything is pretty tasty. It's a bit on the pricey side but was worth it for us.

The only good thing about this place is the view, the food is overpriced and the drinks just acceptable, selection of liquors is pretty slim for a place called "distillery".

Seems over priced for the food - lacking flavor and luster. Maybe go there for the view, but if that's what you are looking for, grab a drink and sit on the patio.
