The ZImbabwe and Mapungabwe kingdoms aren't fully understood because they didn't leave any writing behind, but their histories are still contained within local tribes' oral history, and in the case of Zimbabwe they were mentioned in contemporary texts from Arab traders and Portuguese explorers. There is no mystery about who built these structures, nor when.

Born in '67 (very good year by the way) and lived in Suldrup (Denmark) the first years of my life. Moved to Aalborg (Denmark) to study and later work, then moved to the UK, first Belfast and later Bristol.
