If you've ever taken a screenshot or a screen video from an Android phone, there's a good chance you've been copying and pasting shell commands. I made a tool that does all this in one single click, even on multiple devices at the same time.

I actually just made this for my team, but it turned out a lot of other people in the company could use it, so I thought other people might find it useful too.

You can get it here

Why Android Wear is the new iPad   http://goo.gl/pi6WeA

It's bulky and awkward. We have smartphones, so it's unnecessary. It's a solution in search of a problem. You can't read it in sunlight. The screen gets all smudgy. It's too expensive. It's dumb.

That was the consensus "expert" reaction to Apple's iPad four years ago.

Already I'm hearing the exact same list of complaints about Android Wear watches that I heard about the iPad, and for the exact same reasons.

And I'm going to say the same things about Android Wear that I (correctly) said about the iPad: Android Wear will be an addictive and massive cultural phenomenon, and its primary benefit is a lack of features -- minimalism is what makes it so powerful.

But the reason Android Wear is revolutionary, is that it ships out of the box with its Killer App: Google Now.

Hyatt Regency is dangerously close to becoming my favorite San Francisco building. Although the lobby itself was used in several late-70ies movies, it was inspired by a movie itself; a groundbreaking sci-fi movie from 1936, Things To Come.

Whenever I see a lot of text I want to search it. Could be directories like this one, magazine stands, etc.

Hvis det lykkes mig at lukke samtlige boghandlere har jeg nok et andet, mere interessant problem :)

Sometimes all you need is to know what color the sky has in Tokyo. That will help you determine if you can call your Japanese friend or not.

So +Kenneth Auchenberg and I built that a website and a Chrome extension that does that.  http://mortenjust.com/2014/06/09/calculating-time-difference-with-sky-colors/

That's awesome. We thought about adding live webcam feeds, but thought it would be too noisy. This would work

using just the image you can go crappy-style ocr like evernote so the app/browser-plugin never needs to know the precise text.

It seems smartphone cameras assume you want to save the photo to your camera roll and take a new one immediately. It feels like it's imitating cameras from the Kodak age. Take picture. Forget about it until you get it back from processing at Walmart (just 1 hour!)

But having a super accessible camera, instant processing and the ability to share it with everyone - and everything - means I'm using it for a lot of other things than preserving enjoyable memories. It's basically a notebook.

I took some of the great feedback and added it to this second iteration. And stay tuned for +Mikkel Malmberg's iOS implementation which I'm testing right now.
