A programme of contemporary choral music from Ireland, including the premieres of two exciting new works:
"To the Northeast" by John Buckley (commissioned by Mornington Singers with the support of the Arts Council of Ireland) and the very moving "World War 1 Letters" by Ben Hanlon.

For our Spring concert, "Music For a While", we've got some real choral gems in store for you. A mostly secular programme, it features settings by some of the greatest composers of the 20th and 21st centuries of poems by Shakespeare, Burns, Raftery, Lorca and Sandburg.

From the gorgeous harmonies of Vaughan Williams' "Three Shakespeare Songs", which beautifully evoke the other-worldly nature of the verses, to the darkly sinister urgency of Rautavaara's "Suite de Lorca", each of these works is a small masterpiece of daring invention, yet great sensitivity.

Noël

Come and join the festivities, as we bring you a selection of some of the loveliest Christmas carols, ancient to modern.
It's an absolute privilege to perform in the exquisite Christ Church Cathedral each year, and we're thrilled that our Christmas concert has become a firm fixture in the festive calendar for many of you.

Last year, unfortunately, we had to turn some people away at the door as the venue was filled to capacity.   We strongly recommend booking your tickets early to avoid disappointment!
