Our recent blog announced the exciting news that Morgan’s Superwool® Pyro-Bloc® product range is now being manufactured in alkaline earth silicate (AES) in North America for the first time, returning to the site where it was first developed and patented – Emporia, KS. But where is Pyro-Bloc used and which industries will benefit from an alternative to lining solutions made from traditional refractory ceramic fibres (RCF)?

Superwool Pyro-Bloc is available in two temperature classification gades – Superwool Plus (2192ºF / 1200ºC) and Superwool HT (2372ºF / 1300ºC) – and when used within their stated temperature ranges, AES products maintain their fibrous structure with low shrinkage http://buzz.mw/bqc33_l
