Thursday means two new additions to the Fight Network Boxing Weekly YouTube playlist. This week's selections explained:
1. Because There is No Racism in Boxing, we're adding Gerry Cooney vs George Foreman from January of 1990. The sports public's enduring fascination with and confidence in Cooney had nothing to do with the fact that he was a white American heavyweight in an era of African-American dominance. Impossible. Race Plays no Role in Boxing. Doesn't play a role in the beating Foreman lays on him here.
2. Because most of you only know Rocky Lockridge as The Guy Who Cried on Intervention, we're adding his 1988 classic with Tony Lopez. The man really did have a life before crack. And he was a hell of a fighter.
