You like to create a Photos album cover like this ?

Easy done with piQtility 5.2.0
This example is based on a picture of Fabrice Villard.

1. Open your picture in piQtility
2. Define a destination folder
3. Go to: Edit->Color->Add tint:
- Use as tint color a hot red color
- Set opacity to 100%
- Render method: Darker (this will replace the light tints with red
- Apply Duo tone effect: to create an even bigger contrast
4. Apply these settings to your active picture.

Ta-daaaa! You made it!

Just upload the result to Photos, and place the photo on the cover page of your album.

Created with piQtility.

How to create this:

1. Apply the "Borders & Rounded corners" effect:
- Select "Rounded corners" option
- Select "Border"
- Choose a color (in this example a neutral grey)
- Define a border width

2. Open resulting file (ctrl + click the latest log line)
- apply an accent color (in this case the "underground" red)
- Define a smaller border width

3. Now apply the third color, in this example dark grey, the main tint of the image, and define a smaller border width

If you like a transparent background of the image, save as a PNG, TIFF or GIF file otherwise you can choose JPG for a smaller file size.

That's it!
30 seconds, or even less.

Based on a picture of Luke Stackpoole.

Created with piQtility.

How to create this:

1. Make a crop of the heads, and use the "center" option, apply an offset if needed. Keep the values in mind !
2. Apply the "circular screen" filter on the original image.
3. Use the cropped heads as a watermark and apply on the image where you applied the "circular screen" filter. Position of the watermark is the same as how you did the original cropping.

Success !!
