Bummer to hear that OpenZwave does not support cryptography. I didn't realize that. I haven't had the opportunity to check out any of that hardware. Boo.

I have always been a fan of the venue. Went to an acoustic act with Eddie Spaghetti the other night and the house audio guy blew it for us. Many left the small room in the first few minutes and couldn't return. Most of my group, (which included 3 world touring audio engineers who make a living mixing sound) spent the night outside at the bar unable to handle the irritatingly loud and poorly eq'd acoustic guitar and singer. I wish I could have told Eddie there were at least 35 more people that came to see him but spent the night outside because the mix was obnoxious. I'm all for a loud rock show but this was just stupid. Also, ask the bar if you can buy some earplugs and they will give you a used set.. one that is soaking wet and the other one has some Sharpie writing on it. Last but not least, We dropped more than $250 on a number of drinks/food and the bartender couldn't care less about the service or the order of people waiting for drinks. Summary: Bring some ear plugs, hope for a touring engineer, and eat before you get there. If you want a drink be the annoying drunk guy that pushes his way to the front of the bar and waves at the bartender till he serves you. Don't bother keeping a tab open, they won't remember who you are or what you have been ordering. 3 Stars.
