We arrived in town without a reservation to find many places booked on a Wednesday! Happily this cozy place said, "We have a room, yes, non-smoking." Walking distance to Sandbar Grill on Wharf 2, comfortable and the QUIETEST night's sleep we have ever had away from home. Management and new trainee delightful. Indeed we will stay here again.

Quick, friendly service. Rooms were very clean and the area was quiet. Pretty decent location, an easy walk to restaurants and fisherman's wharf.

Very clean, and the hotel manager was very kind and helpful. The app I used to book accidentally bought me two rooms, and I didn't know until it was too late, but Ray was able to sell the room and refund me. He went above and beyond. Not sure about that "ocean view" though! We're pretty far inland.

I was told to show up and "pick up the black phone for service" the front desk was closed and the phone was broken. No number to call and no way to reach anyone. The guy who finally showed up after half an our of waiting was completely indifferent to the situation. No apologies, nothing. Room was OK but very expensive.

Recently my wife and I were doing a trip down Highway 1 and Monterrey was one of our stops. Parking was easy to get though if the main lot is full I imagine it could be a little wonky on finding though it looks as if there is a secondary lot on one of the sides of the building, I wasn't able to confirm that to be the case though. The room itself was a standard hotel and nothing to write home about. Decent bed, fridge, TV with stations, okay bathroom. Nothing bad but nothing that stood out. Complimentary breakfasts were coffee, fruit, and some standard fair for the area. Again, nothing bad but nothing to really stand out. However, the location is great! It is within walking distance of a ton of shops and one of the main restaurant districts in the area so you can't go wrong. Not in the area for more than a day and being able to walk everywhere we wanted to get to made this perfect for our needs. If you're looking for comfort or luxury for an extended stay this might not be your first choice but if you're only in town for a couple of days or so and really don't expect to spend much time in your room - this is a perfect choice!

So for a hole in the wall the room was nice, recently renovated. When I got my key the u-bar lock was on the door which required some creativity to remedy. Fthe staff were all willing to help but were a little lost on how to fix it. Their breakfast was better than expected and the TV was a little small

Dropped in for a quick overnight stay during a road trip and I was really happy. The room was very well presented, clean, and had everything necessary. Oh and you can make waffles for breakfast!

Great spacious rooms, clean, great location, nice and quiet. Even the help yourself breakfast was good, not great, but good! No complaints here.
