Stats + Bob Ross?! Be still, my heart.

Love this.
Bob Ross was a consummate teacher. He guided fans along as he painted "happy trees," "almighty mountains" and "fluffy clouds" over the course of his 11-year television career on his PBS show, “The ...

Really enjoyed learning more about integrating the Instagram API into websites today. As the 3rd Thunder Cat to host an +SEOmoz  #mozinar  in 3 months, Shawn did not disappoint. Hooray team +Thunder SEO!

Today, Shawn shared a TON of Instagram tips and tactics with a captive +SEOmoz audience during his #mozinar ! If you didn't have a chance to tune in, check out his recap and slide deck here!

Here's what happens when I attempt to get technical with a +Thunder SEO blog post! I'd like to thank +Max Thomas for his guidance, Diet Coke for its never-ending caffeine support, and all of the amazing people and posts I referenced in this post. Who cares if I published it at 1pm PST on a Friday, right?! Right.

PR and SEO work better together, and Twitter lists are key to keeping up with prospects. Loving this post from +Casie Gillette on +Search Engine Land!
There’s been a lot of talk in the search industry over the past year regarding the overlap of public relations and SEO, particularly in the area of link building. As a Public Relations major, this couldn’t make me happier — not because I feel like my college degree can finally be justified to my parents; but [...]

Nice post on humanizing brands with social media by my friend +Dave Brown!

My favorite quote: "...the brands who are consistently winning and making powerful connections with their audience are the ones that execute fully integrated campaigns."

Love your work. Work your love.

I had my car fixed by Convoy late last year, and could not be happier with my experience. As a gal that knows little about auto repair, I was worried I might get the run-around and an expensive bill. Instead, I got a very thorough explanation of my car problems from the owner (David) and a reasonable price tag to boot. Bonus: their shuttle will pick you up and drop you off around San Diego, which makes the whole car repair process a lot more manageable. Thanks Convoy!

Great selection of craft beer and delicious New Haven style pizzas! I've lived in North Park for a few years, and was really excited to see this restaurant/bar coming to our hood...nothing else like it! Definitely a fun crowd, and the bartenders are awesome as well. Make sure to stop by for the "Pie-No-Mite" hour from 4-6p, M-F: order a pitcher/growler of beer and get a free pizza! WINNING.

I don't have a dog, but whenever I'm with someone that does, I suggest this dog park in my neighborhood. It's a beautiful, huge grassy spot with a variety of breeds and owners, and it's secluded enough to let your pup roam free.

I purchased my bike here last summer, and the guys were really friendly and helpful when it came to choosing the perfect ride. I've since returned for accessories and tuneups, and it's the kind of place you want to frequent often. Townie rides on the Sundays also bring the biking community together!!

Oh Bluefoot, you are my neighborhood spot, and I wouldn't have it any other way. The patio is great for relaxing and North Park people-watching, and they actually have an excellent draft beer selection. It gets pretty crazy on the weekends, but I enjoy visiting between Monday and Thursday with the regulars. Pretty decent sized full bar with lots of room for sitting and dancing.

A great co-working spot in East Village that inspires local creatives to get the most out of freelancing. Work at the HIVE if you want to make things happen.

A great place to grab a burger and a beer in South Park. The patio is perfect (and kid-friendly), the beer selection is decent, and the burgers are pretty good. Only open until 12am.
