I feel compelled to say something witty, but can't bring myself to. Inoculation must work. 
Before it gets to stupidity it usually vaccinates against disgust from visual stimuli and such stuff :)
Additionally, vaccines normally mean relatively small amounts or deactivated pathogens. Doesn't seem to be the case.
However, training the filtering ability to figure out plausible from outright bullshit might be a better description of what happens.
(of course, some people learn sufficiently fast to stay in the bullshit they got used to before)
