We came to the Mondrian to see the sunset. It was a perfect view as we saw the sun fall beneath the pink skyline that Miami has to offer. Service at the bar was attentive and warm with a smile. A great afternoon.

The hotel is fine and we had a great stay. The problem is that when we checked out, I was charged 26 dollars for a mini bar we never touched. She apologized and said she would refund my card immediately. It's been almost a month and I still do not have my money back. I've emailed twice with no response, I've called four times and been told to call back, I've even left a message with accounting with no call back.

My stay at the Mondrian was exceptionally pleasant and I won't hesitate to return. Everything for my stay was in place prior to my arrival and all of the staff--from the valets to the managers--were very friendly and wonderful to deal with. My room had view to the Miami skyline and it was wonderfully peaceful at sunrise. The exercise facilities present at the Mondrian are worthy of the title and also share the same majestic view. Drinks at the Sunset Lounge were wonderfully engaging and the sushi was similarly satisfying if somewhat simple. Honestly I prefer that the menu be well-curated and well-executed versus highly volatile and varied in quality--the Sunset Lounge menu definitely falls into the former category. I breakfasted at La Savina which was excellent and possesed hidden gems such as Jalapeño Biscuits and gravy. The Sunday-morning yoga classes on the water were also a nice touch. The Mondrian, located on 11th Street, is in a prime location and well within walking distance of several fine dining establishments. During my stay I walked to and from Barton G and greatly enjoyed a tremendously flamboyant dinner. Feel free to substitute the restaurant of your choosing in this review as the Mondrian is within a decent walk of Lincoln Road which holds untold dining and shopping pleasures. All-in-all the Mondrian is a finely-staffedhotel with a waterfront view and within a stroll of many attractions that being people to Miami Beach at all times of the year. It's also important to note that the Mondrian is pet-friendly in all areas except for the pool area.

Fantastic experience! Room was spacious and elegant. Location amazing: Starbucks on the corner, whole foods across the street, INCREDIBLE food from Creative Food Company. Only flaw was very expensive drinks.

This place is awesome! Our room was so nice and the view was beautiful. We stayed on the 3rd floor overlooking the pool and bay and had a balcony. The sun is over the pool area starting around 11:00am and we were able to enjoy a beautiful sunset every evening. Everyone who worked there seemed so nice, especially Mirta E. at the front desk and Miguel A. Mirta came out from behind the front desk when we were leaving and gave us a hug goodbye and Miguel helped me get an Uber driver because I had an account but never used it before. He helped us with our bags and stayed with us until our ride arrived. They couldn't have been more helpful to us with anything we needed. We were so impressed with this place. Since we came home, we've told our friends and family that if they're going to Miami, this is the hotel that they need to stay at!!!

For my niece’s birthday we decided to make it a girl’s day out and go for massages and poolside fun! Travel Zoo had a fantastic deal going on for a $99 massage so we took the plunge (pun totally intended!). The hotel itself is beautiful, with a large black staircase in the middle accented by simple white walls and a bar. Upon arriving, we quickly headed up to the spa where we were given our locker keys and a quick tour. Joshua & Jessica were at the desk and they couldn’t have been nicer. They were quick to get us on our way and had no issues processing our vouchers (that can be a nightmare sometimes!). The facility is nice but small and poorly lit. They only have one shower which made it very difficult for all of us to shower there so we decided to head home oiled up and still floating on a cloud of relaxation. Our home showers would have to do this time. They also have a sauna that I didn’t use but my cousin really enjoyed. The massage itself was very good. Ana, Kristina, and Tatyana were our masseuses and they did a great job. We had the hot stone massage and that helped melt away the month long tension that had been building up since the end of the holiday season. The rooms though, were not so great. Mine was a bit hot and unlike the bathrooms, it was NOT poorly lit – it was way too bright for my taste. However, they cannot control that, as it is just the natural light coming in through the window. Boo. The pool area was smaller than I expected but very, very nice! There was plenty of seating available and the service was SUPERB! We were constantly being asked if everything was ok or if we needed anything, which means we always had a drink in our hands – Yeeeeeah! Vivianna, our server, was absolutely phenomenal. She was sweet, personable, and super-fast! She made me want to stay by the pool the entire time. I can’t tell you how many times I have had to flag down servers by the pool only to be in the throes of a heat stroke by the time they arrive. This was NOT the case with Vivianna. I swear, I think the girl had eyes in the back of her head or she has a "Thirst Radar" that let's her know when people need a drink! All in all this is a GREAT hotel in the heart of Miami Beach that offers spectacular service and good massages (especially if you can get your hands on a Travel Zoo or Groupon deal). The Spa facilities itself could use a little refurbishing which is why I didn’t give this the extra star – but It’s definitely NOT a deal breaker for me. I will be baaaaaaaaaaaaaaack...

There is one thing that cannot be overlooked about this hotel, when late afternoon comes and every hotel on the Atlantic coast of South Beach is in the shade, the Mondrian pool deck is bathed in beautiful sunshine all the way to sunset. Priceless.
