My wife and I stayed at this hotel for 4 days recently. The service was extraordinary. Beginning with Angela at the front desk, helping with a room change, to the concierge Luis and Rosa. Luis was great. He was very helpful in making our stay a very pleasant one. Even the doormen were friendly and helpful. I was about to book a city and bus tour we had seen advertised. Once I talked to this company, I decided to ask Rosa for a tour recommendation. The tour she recommended was great! The best tour via bus and boat, and the guide was great. Talk about hotel location! Close enough to the Lincoln St Mall, 1 block to Wholefoods, Starbucks and Budget rental car. The bay view from our room was awesome! The only downside was the bed was not very comfortable for the wife. Very low to the floor and a challenge for those with back problems. We ate breakfast at the hotel on our last day. The food was very good and pricey. Service again was great. What a way to enjoy a vacation in Miami Beach!!!

Great hotel, take security very serious which is a good thing. I few tweeks here and there with this place and it could easily be a 5 star in my book. Ive stayed here well over 7 times.

stayed here on may 12-16 2011 rooms are nice staff is terrible beach attendent is a scavenger me n my wife had our belonging on a lounge chair attendent moved it and wrapped it in a towel my wife pannicked when she couldnt find it all, this was totally unacceptible when i asked to speak w/ a manger bar tender said he would send someone over never happened, not to be out done,my room was never cleaned one day i called front desk they said management would call 3hours later no call so i called back a manger did call me back no applogy after i explained to her about the pool incident, just said will send someone up to clean and let a manager know about the pool incident, next morning ordered a pot of coffee room ser, for me and my wife they sent 1 cup said they be right back 30min, later! service is bad a bunch of young mangers that basically have no custumer service skills i wouldnt stay here again,i also may add on fri,n satur, night the music is so loud u can here thru out the hotel and it can take over 30 min, to get valet serv, for your car on them nights!

I knew the Mondrian LA before and expected a similar experience in Miami. Unfortunately, both house are not comparable. It starts with the subpar valet service at arrival, trying to communicate with the receptionist in a very noisy and dark lobby while loud music is playing in the background. Everything is very empty and dark. If that's the design style they went with in this house, ok - but it's not my style. The suite had a "living" area which is basically a large empty room with a two seater and a lamp - and a lot of space. The view "Downtown" is quite nice, but then there's the pool area which houses some very loud a/c or generator, running all night - same is true for the (inroom) a/c generator in the bathroom. The bathroom itself is basically void of storage space and even the placement of a toothbrush is a challenge. The worst overall is the scent used all over the hotel. One feels like in an A&F store - unfortunately this is true in the bedroom as well, so the last thing in the evening and the first thing in the morning is sweet powdery scent in your nose. We checked out after one night and the management was very interested to learn about the reasons for our checkout, friendly and understanding. I guess we just weren't right for each other ;)

Hotel all around was really nice, room was spacious and clean. Had a problem with the thermostat, which was taken care within half hour. View from room was nice. Parking is quite expensive, $45 a day. Would stay again any day.
