Have you checked out Nike's Hall of Phenomenal in #DTLA? It's one of the best places to watch the #WorldCup in LA. Get there early though, the line to get in is massive. #RiskEverything

West Hollywood has no shortage of beautiful people and to me Skybar is one of the few places that's view actually matches the crowd. You can have all the decorations and interior design in the world, but a view in something that to me sets them apart. The pool is nice and quaint and exactly where you would imagine a fashion show runway to be set up. Actually I'm pretty sure this has happened here. I've been here for weeknight caps, and on the weekends, but my preference is weeknights. People aren't so amped to rage and it's pretty popular with the locals versus myself an out of Towner. I was told it was guest list only from 8pm to 2am, but I never once called ahead and never really waited in line too much or was hassled. A nominal tip and I was in, but keeping the ratio right is always a plus so I usually roll solo or +2 females, though I have heard of tight bouncers enforcing the rule. Attempt to bypass the guest list rule at your own risk. For a bar with club hours they have some pretty impressive wine's, but in the preferred drink of choice is Champagne and they are all pricey. I tend to stick with beer or Whiskey as Makers, Jameson are their bottom shelf stuff. I really like how they've stepped up their craft cocktail game with The Pedigree (salty dog with basil), Acai lemonade (lemonade, cranberry juice and veev acai). A few others use champagne like the Fluer-de-l' citrus and the French pear martini. Though I only tried these, I never drank them they were orders for my guests I can say their construction was excellent and though too fruity for me (except the Pedigree) I would highly recommend going with a cocktail versus a 2 ingredient drink. Staff are pretty pro, it's not that they are nice, but they are tip hungry, heck the whole pool lounge/bar industry seems to expect bottle service to be the norm and black cards a plenty. I am not baller, but you must come prepared to drop a pretty penny on a night out here whether a round for you and your posse or the lovelies across the way. Security is pretty laxed as long as you're having good clean fun. I've been able to vape, but I've also been asked not to, so the rules are mixed, but then again it's a matter of getting in with it as they do check cigarettes and I've seen people walk all the way back to their car. Prices are high, but it's LA, no it's West Hollywood with a view so look to double or triple your usual pricing. It's surprisingly warm from what I think are thermals because usually balcony's or rooftop pools are cooler than below, but not here. Parking sucks. Too many variables could ruin your night out here like parking, guest list, drink prices, so I can't give it 5 stars, but it's a solid 4+ if you do get in and can skirt the typical LA-ness.

Don't use the site. I canceled my reservation with them. The git on the phone said it's was canceled. But they charged my card double the price on the site. Then said they have no record of them charging me. To send them my bank statement. So I did still haven't heard from them. N when I call I get the run around.

Affordable hotel in a good location. The rooms are clean, a bit dated. As you enter the doorway, there is a escalator that goes up to the hotel lobby. There is also a chinese restaurant upstairs, adjacent to the lobby. I've had food delivered to my room, it's decent. Located right across the street from a coffee shop, that is shabby but convenient. Great location and room prices. Three and a half stars, rounded up for the location.

Funky, boutique hotel just off West Hollywood. We stayed here for about $350 on new year's eve, which was by far the lowest price available within a mile of times square. They were kind enough to check us in 7 hours early for just a $30 charge. The room was comfortable and both the room and bathroom were substantially larger than similarly priced hotels I've stayed in nearby. Minus just one star for the shower. The water temperature and pressure are highly temperamental and there was no shampoo provided. But this is a minor quibble with an otherwise fun experience.

Mondrian! Love this hotel. A close to 4 star review. Symbolic sunset hotel! Likes: Love the hotel rooms. All are modern and the views are stunning. The corner rooms are the way to go. Windows spanning across the room with views of Los Angels and Sunset. Dislikes: The small lobby. The lack of an adequate workout area. The spa is also very small Novelty about the hotel: The location, the access to sky bar for hotel guests, the view of the hills and Los Angeles from the rooms and the decor of the lobby!

Hotel is decent, the service is pretty bad. The front desk admitted making an error and yet Sarai Hernandez was outright rude and refused to fix it. She refused to allow me to speak to her manager (Keiko Kawai). I have never been talked to so unprofessionally. I visit LA regularly for business and I will never go there again. I would not recommend anybody stay at the Mondrian hotel.

I've stayed here many times over the past few years and would definitely stay again. I'm always very impressed by how clean and comfortable the rooms are. A night stay here is pricey, but much less than many hotels in West Hollywood. The customer service is good, but be aware that there is usually just one person manning the front desk, one person working the bar lounge, and one employee working as the door man so there's waiting time just like at any hotel. Room service is good too. They have an excellent burger and fries.

I stayed here two nights for work and its my favorite hotel in CA so far! Keep in mind I came for WORK so I was never in my room and I never ordered room service. The bed was SO comfortable and the room was quiet, cool and clean. The staff was friendly and the overall decor of the hotel was nice. Its certainly no amazing boutique hotel but for a good deal and clean and quiet its great!
