I found the most beautiful Justin Alexander gown (style 8701) at Mon Amie. With the drop waist, scalloped bottom, and lace applique, it was everything I wanted in a wedding dress, plus with the unique touches of a sequined lining and pearl accents on the bodice that I never knew that I wanted. The one thing that was missing was a keyhole back--but that was no problem for Gloria in alterations. She managed to take a couple of pictures and basically read my mind about what I wanted for the neckline and back. The result was absolute gorgeous. The striking but timeless dress I always imagined for my wedding day. And, most importantly, the groom loved it, and loved the fact that the train was slightly longer than the typical chapel length. Mon Amie also has a great selection of accessories and formalwear. I purchased my veil from them (again, exactly what I wanted--perfect fingertip length and amount of embellishment), as well as my bridesmaids' dresses (Andrew Adela style 5042S). Though the dresses are a bit on the expensive side, Mon Amie has a great selection and good service. I first scheduled my appointment because my mom bought her dress at Mon Amie twenty-seven years ago, and I'll definitely be bringing my daughter when the time comes.

Horrific experience! IF I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS I WOULD! Once they get your money, all bets are off. They smile and compliment you endlessly to get you emotionally hooked into buying a dress. They don't show you the contract and promise you that you can cancel within three days and get your money back - you cannot! They overcharge on EVERY POSSIBLE ITEM - so do yourself a favor - go there, use their expertise, try on their dresses, then go and get the dress for 1/3 the price at another site or at another store - you'll be glad you did! They are unfeeling monsters to deal with - you will tear your hair out and it will ruin the most exciting time leading up to your wedding to take on the heartless gals who run this money-making machine.

Huge selection of dresses and plenty of rooms to try on your dress, but customer service is why I wouldn't buy my dress here. Because I wasn't dressed to the nine they didn't even offer to help me look although there was 3 consultants at the front and just stared at me. Another bride to be came in in fancy clothes and they were all over here. There was another bride browsing and I asked if she had a consultant and she said no and said it seemed as though they only help those who appear wealthy. Maybe they should learn not to judge a book by its cover.

Mon Amie has a very unpleasant customer experience. After to going to 10 or 11 different bridal salons, I have learned a thing or two about how a bride should be treated during the process of buying a dress. Here is why the buying experience is so awful here: 1. Musty dress! One of the dresses I tried on was a $7,000.00 Berta dress, this dress had sleeves so it was very hot. When I put this dress on there was an overwhelming smell of horrible body oder. The smell was so strong that i knew it was a smell that had been building up over time, not just from one bride that was musty that day. The dress was not on me for more then 5 seconds before I begged to be taken out of it. The consultant was more worried about me going out to show her boss then how uncomfortable I was in a smelly dress. 2. Alteration prices! Bridal salons can only have so much variation in the price of a dress, due to the fact you can find most of the dresses other places and compare the price. Mon Amie charges you the standard cost of the dress, however charges you waaaaayyyy more for alterations. I found a dress there that I had also tried on at another store. I asked for the price breakdown from both stores, the price of the dress was the same at both stores however Mon Amie was charging $850 more for alterations! 3. This place barely gives you water. At Mon Amie they will only give you water if you ask for it, in the smallest plastic cup I have ever seen. At the end of the day I have decided to spend the same amount of money at Vera Wang, where the dresses are amazingly beautiful and the experience is even better. When I went to Vera Wang in Beverly Hills the champagne was flowing the entire appointment! The consultant was the most amazing consultant I ever meet, I even became friends with him on Instagram. He made me feel and look amazing, he treated me with respect, and made me feel really special. You are spending a lot of money you should be treated like a princess!

Well... To start I never thought I would cry out of sadness at a bridal appointment... But I did at Mon Amie!... But more on that later. I arrived a couple hours early thanks to a cancellled appointment and I was hoping they could squeeze me in. Thankfully they were very accommodating and I was able to be seen immediately. I browsed the dresses and found that most were above my price range (2500) so I was a little sad to be so limited, but they had many beautiful dresses and there were enough to see that were closer to my budget. After talking to my stylist about the dresses and saying how I wanted one with a certain shape so it didnt show my stomach too much (I weigh about 163 currently and a size 12 and plan to lose weight before my big day) she said "How pregnant will you be on your wedding day?" I was floored... But I was about to pass it off because I knew I had talked about my stomach a lot to her so I thought it might be a more excusable assumption ... Not so insulting in that context, but when I corrected her she quickly said "oh I am SO sorry the people at the front said..." Honestly that was what was too much... Not only did she assume I was pregnant, but the front desk staff had thought so enough to SAY something to her, when I had given them absolutely no reason to think I was pregnant other than walking in the store as I looked. :( I do carry a fair bit of my weight in my stomach but I cant help that and I am working on losing more weight. I used to be much heavier so part of it is extra skin from my previous 70lb weight loss and I can do nothing about it. Even so, this really isn't an excuse for the staff to make such assumptions, let alone bring it up to the potential bride. I couldn't help my reaction. I was very upset and began to cry. She apologized a lot and was very nice but the damage had kinda already been done. That is the last thing I wanted to hear when trying on dresses and really ruined my experience that day despite her best efforts. The rest of the appointment she kept referring to me as "doll" and "beauty"... So she was trying... but it was kinda hard to feel beautiful after that. I did like one of the dresses I tried on but it was pricier than I hoped to spend and it is hard to imagine going back with my experience there. I just imagine the staff talking about my weight behind my back as they did before and lose interest :(

Came here Monday 2 pm. The appointment was easy to book online and they called me to followup. Originally my friend and I had different appointment times but Mon Amie was able to accommodate both of us as the same time. They have a large selection of dresses around 3-4 rooms worth. Prices ranging from $1500's to $6000+. My consultant Susan was very nice and helpful in trying on dresses. She even gave me suggestions on which wedding outfits to try on. It's true that the cheaper the dress, the less embellishments it has. It's best if you have a budget of $2000 or more if you want to get a really nice dress from here. Susan brought us water after our appointments were done and even wrote down the dresses I like down. Mon Amie has a great selection of dresses and excellent staff.

I found my dream gown at Mon Amie with the help of my sweet assistant. She knew exactly the types of dresses to help me find that would match my personality & flatter my figure. Its the best bridal shop with a huge selection & prices that fit my budget! (Mine was $1000). The only negative thing I can say is the directions from the IPhone 5 has the shop a few blocks down from where it really is. Just make sure you know the exact spot or it could be very inconvenient!

Mon Ami was great when I hadn't bought my dress from them yet. They even fit me in same day on a Saturday during a trunk show. The sales woman was great and very accommodating. The buying process was great. The day of buying the dress they made me feel like a princess. Unfortunately, that is where the greatness ended. I was so excited to finally get my dress but they ruined that for me. Once they got my money they were rude, couldn't fit me in to pick it up on a trunk show weekend (even though I already owned the dress), and then wanted to charged me an outrageously priced daily fee to keep it there until they could fit me in. The woman who greeted me when they finally could fit me in (causing me to have to leave work early on a Friday so I wouldn't get charged the daily storage fee and still get to try it on) was also rude to me asking me, "Aren't you just picking up the dress."- "NO, that was the whole point of me leaving work early, so I could try it on before taking it home- especially after paying the price I paid for the dress. This is my wedding dress!" At this point I just wanted to take my dress and run. I intended on paying the extra money to just have my gown altered there (I was quoted $500). After my experience, I decided to look elsewhere for alterations. When the manager came in the fitting room to see how I liked the dress and if there was anything she could do, she also asked if I was using them for alterations. I informed her I was until today and my horrible experience- she did not even ask for a further explanation and just brushed me off and continued to fill out the paperwork so I could have my dress. HORRIBLE customer service. Trying your dress on should bring happy tears to your eyes. Sadly I just felt angry and used the whole time, like I did not matter. My poor mom who saved up and paid for the dress felt bad too, one of the most fun and memorable experiences became such a headache. The dress and veil are beautiful though and a great price. To top off the whole horrible ordeal, I was almost home (I live 30 minutes away) and they call because they forgot to take the tag off the dress and veil saying I took it out of the store and want me to drive all the way back so they can do it. I THINK NOT! sorry! Bottom line- once they get your money they treat the brides like second class citizens.
