Though I visited Smithsonian Museum in Washington, the time constraint made me to rush through the halls without concentrating on the displays and information provided thereof. Now, the link given below allowed me to virtually tour Smithsonian Natural History Museum. The best part is the ability to read the contents of the display boards. Panoramic and hd photos make a feast to the eyes.

Got Google calendar updated just now. I noticed two changes immediately. First, daily weather forecast is added to calendar automatically. This, I suspect, due to integration of Google Now with Google calendar. Second, location of event is integrated with Google map. It is easy for the invitees to find the direction to the event place.

I was able to remotely operate my laptop from my android device and vice versa. Though my android device display is small, I could do remote operations using zoom functions. I am yet to test fully the reverse operation. It is fun now and it may be productive when a friend call me for help. Btw, one needs to install Chrome remote desktop app in all the devices that need to be connected and given share.

It is unfortunate that I was not able to install Google Camera app. My galaxy S3 smartphone does not have KitKat Android. I tried an apk file of Google Camera app that was ported for JellyBeans. That also did not work. I may have to wait till Google releases JellyBeans version of Google Camera or wait for upgrade of my device to KitKat.

Space shuttle program had to be abandoned as the cost of operation was too high. Hope this technology makes it affordable and effective.

Celebrate Earth Day with the Rufous Hummingbird! #EarthDayDoodle. We need to be reminded at least once a year to recommit ourselves on protecting our Earth.

I am unburdened with a huge responsibility. I exercised my right and voted with responsibility for 2014 general election. I am not one of the lazy lots of city dwellers who are criticized for not voting. Democracy allows to elect its own government by majority voting. It is definitely better than other forms of government.

This is latest addition to my digital book library. I chose this book as the theme of this novel is to my liking. Punjabi boy and a Tamilian girl getting married and ensuing conflicts between the families. The front page gives up the theme. It is a biography of the author Chetan Bhagat. I admire the author.

It is a nice article on hypocrisy adopted by western world on green energy and power needs of India. Though India has pushed for use of green energies, they have much limitations like unreliability and capital costs. Even nuclear energy push is opposed by environmentalists, though it is as clean as other green energy sources. Only problem with nuclear energy is disposal of spent fuels, weaponization and devastating effects of accidents. These are being addressed. India can not give up coal, but it can use gasified coal to reduce the environmental problems. Of course, the cost will go up, but we have to endure for better control of pollutants.

When I approached them for replacing a battery for a cell phone that was originally purchased from them, they could not provide one. It seems that they are more focused on sales rather than service. However, they directed me to a local service provider.

Dentist clinic generally means a dreadful place to visit. However, the doctor in this clinic is very professional. He is very clever in making the patients comfortable during the visits.
