Sweet tech! Check it out and test it out!

Get on the same page with Tone

Sometimes in the course of exploring new ideas, we'll stumble upon a technology application that gets us excited. Tone is an experimental Chrome extension that makes sharing digital things with nearby people as easy as talking to them.

Tone broadcasts the URL of the current tab to any machine within earshot that also has the extension installed. We’ve found it useful for quickly sharing documents with everyone in a meeting, contributing relevant links without interrupting conversations, and maybe even the occasional rickroll (https://goo.gl/smp6ig).

To get started, first install the Tone extension for Chrome (http://g.co/tone). Then simply open a tab with the URL you want to share, make sure your volume is on, and press the Tone button. Your machine will then emit a short sequence of beeps. Nearby machines receive a clickable notification that will open the same tab. Getting everyone on the same page has never been so easy! You start editing #PalWeb  Summit talks and you think you finished 4 already and already uploaded one to YouTube and then you hear that noise in the background when the speaker is not talking.

And you can't unhear that

And then you do an entirely new research on how you remove this noise.

Apparently it involves Converting the video to audio, taking it into an Audio editing app (Audacity) fixing up the noise, and then re-import it to your video editor (Lightworks) and make sure the audio is synced with the video and then finally export the video.

Noise be damned.

A Magical Unicorn!
Introduction
I am a web developer and entrepreneur.

I grew up in Palestine, Hebron in a refugee camp called Arroub. Originally from a village called Qastina.  I moved to the US to work for Google in Mountain View as a Web Developer in March 2012.

I have been part of different communities and local groups in Palestine, such as PaleXO, GTUG, GeekMesh. Among others.

I cofounded and ran Bazinga! Ramallah before we shut it down after almost a year in operation. A Technology and Social Hub. We also did Social Media Marketing and Web and Mobile Development. While at Bazinga! I also built ReflectOn.Me a Facebook app to allow businesses and pages owners create a visual pictures of what people think of them. Although still a lot buggy and not ready for real-life usage it demonstrate how the people would use it.

I co-built Picatweet with a friend of mine +Anas Abdelrazeq - a photo sharing twitter-like web app that allow people to follow news visually. But then we've decided to shut it down due to Twitter launching a very similar experience to the one we were developing.

I built Entrepreneurs.ps portal. A portal for people to connect and find other talents and expertise. I am looking for people to collaborate on building this with me and open source it for others to build on it. (Python AppEngine Developers Ping me).

I am deeply in love with Google and believe they are doing such an amazing job.
