Have you ever had a client that asks for a discount? Refuses to listen to your advice?

Or how about, you just simply felt that you are working FOR him, and not WITH him?

For me, these people are called "CHEAP CLIENTS" and you better run away from them as fast as you can.

Why?

First, they don't understand the true value of your product or service EVEN though you know that you can deliver a high quality product/service.

Second, they refuse to listen to your advice and they think they know better (By the way, I don't believe that a customer is always right. I believe that BOTH customer and business owners are right.)

Third, whenever they ask discounts, does it really matter?

Does giving a $100, $500, $1k discount really matter when you KNOW that you are selling a PREMIUM, BAD-ASS product or service?

NO FREAKING WAY!!!

These cheap clients simply destroy the quality of your brand, and sooner or later, your brand will be labeled as cheap or mediocre as well!

These cheap clients don't have the mentality of "PLAYING TO WIN."

These cheap clients simply waste your precious time.

Now, you may argue that shopping at Amazon, thrift stores and local shops have better items or service, and that's ok.

What is NOT ok is that when you are selling premium
products/services cheaply to these type of people.

It's ok when you:

- Buy books at Amazon
- Get your car fixed at a local shop than a dealer
- Get your computer repaired by a friend than going to Geek Squad

It's NOT ok when you:

- Ask discount for a good website/video/branding company
- Refuse to listen to the advice of the experts
- Trying to be perfect and micromanage everything (A total waste of time)

If you are reading this and you think and feel that you are a cheap client, please change your attitude.

If you can't, go to cheap companies who provide crappy products/service.

If you are a business owner, keep your standards to the HIGHEST and run away from these cheap clients.

They are not worth your time :)
